Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

I compile with ./configure --enable-opencl and it works just fine

GPU mining support DISABLED

I'm very excited about the launch. Decided to wait for the gui wallet cause i'm so little techsavvy that I would screw my airdrop up somehow.  Hope I get my gpu's ready for mining at least! |

Quick update on cgminer. There was a v0.0.2 release with updated builds (Linux) and more recently, a v0.0.3 release for Windows - for those who don't check GitHub regularly. Will get the OP text updated as well. |

No staking on the web wallet at present. A big priority is native GUIs, and from there staking is of course doable (for those not comfortable with CLI). |

So if I keep my miners pointed at the pool mining testnet coins, and the official launch occurs, will it just switch over automatically and be mining live net coins without any intervention on my side?
