There is no dev and two dead coins now. It's over.

All,
We've kept quiet because we've been trying to figure out the story, but since the dev has not contacted us and its become a mess, here is our understanding of what happened:
* swap was performed at ccex/yobit * somewhere along the way - i dont know if its the exchanges or the dev; I also dont know if its malicious, failure in process or hacked accounts, but the "swapped" coins were deposited into bittrex and dumped onto the market that was still open. * the dev has not contacted us yet after multiple attempts
GREEDYJOHN can provide more background. At this time, we are delisting the market. The wallet will be opened for withdrawal of the old coin.
thanks, richie@bittrex
Thats a real shame.. And it is a powerful knockout to DRZ community... Richie, it should be very easy for you to see which Bittrex account did that. Did you suspend that account or did you let him withdraw the BTC he got after dumping his stolen DRZ?! Also - did he dump all DRZ he had? If you open withdrawals, he will withdraw all his stolen coins (if he did not dump them all) and all those coins will be hanging around. We need to stop him! Please let us know, the situation is not looking good, so any piece of info is appreciated. You (and we) have a unique opportunity to catch a thief. Is it possible for you to publish information about that account, or at least make some punitive actions towards him?? This thief should not run away unpunished!! We suspended and locked the account as soon as someone notified us. I sent mail days before the swap asking the dev if we should close the market or wallet and never got a response. Whoever did it deposited ~1.3M coins and withdrew all the BTC he got from it before we could do anything. That is all the information I can provide unfortunately. thanks, richie@bittrex Was it newly created account or an old one? You have the email associated with that account, how it looks like? Is there anything you could do to help community identify out the thief? I believe it is important, as there are many suspects.

Thanks for the information. This is pretty interesting. it would seem that: 1. Those who took part in the swap now have the "new" DRZ that are a scam, but can be traded at Yobit and C-CEX. The new devs took off with the profits from dumping at Bittrex and will not be developing new DRZ any further. 2. Those who missed the swap (such as myself) are bag holding "old" DRZ - a coin that is not a scam, unlike the "new" DRZ - but that are no longer traded on any exchange, thanks to this unnecessary coin takeover and swap. So which is the real DRZ now? See, this is why I hate coin swaps. If you want to take over a coin, fine, but don't force people to swap them out. Make your new development backward compatible with the original coin. Unless you are a scammer. In which case everyone should refuse to take part in the swap. Case in point. This is the exact reason we discourage swaps. Again, we will opening the wallet shortly for withdrawal of the old DRZ. Wish there was more we could do but we are left in the same position as most DRZ holders. thanks, richie@bittrex Oke..i dont understand. I own a lot of coins...deposit in bittrex wallet. What to do?.. do you hold drz on trex at the moment? Yes on bittrex in traders wallet. you can withdrawal your drz, you've missed the swap, so now with the dev disappeared I don't know if your DRZ not swapped are still worth something. Withdrawal them btw

how could the dev get hold of "swapped coins" anyway, it should have been burned by ccex or yobit. that narrows it down =P
how many coins were swapped? is the 1.3 million from one exchange or both or somewhere else?

it appears that the old Droidz coins were not burnt, so they leaked through the system to the exchange that had not yet conducted the swap.
I do not like this, this is just a waste of other people's resources.
Almost 4 BTC was made by the thief, but why destroy a masternode coin for 4 BTC?

That should be it. Problems could be sorted, if the DEV just comes forward. There is still time to talk to BITTREX.

who has control over unswapped new droidz coins? might be worth letting exchanges know there's some shifty shenanigans going on, maybe close wallets etc ??
-edit i lodged a support ticket with c=cex, yobit wallet is currently offline but i will lodge one with them also

How can yobit have 2 wallets holding that many droidz? I thought yobit were doing the exchange from old to new? Surely those coins should now be the new drz?

Surely those coins should now be the new drz? i assume they haven't sent the old droidz to whomever. i dont know if it's full policy, but i sort of expect them to burn them .. but that's all down to what arrangements they had in place for the swap Hi, i have drz coin in trex. I see there is some confusion... I am also not sure, but here is what I think has happened:
1. About 3.5M coins were swapped by C-cex and yobit. People got their new DRZ, so old DRZ coins should have been burned (sent to some approved Burn address). However unfortunately this never happened. Yobit coins are still sitting at old Yobit addresses, and hopefully they still can be burned soon. With C-Cex coins the situation is worse - instead of being burned, they somehow were sent out from C-cex wallet to Bittrex wallet address, and were sold to people. As a result the available supply of old DRZ is now (1.5M + 2M) instead of just 1.5M. This means the old coins should either be dropped, or swapped at at a decreased rate, or alternatively, the supply of new DRZ should be increased to swap all those coins.
2. The new DRZ is more or less safe, however the Dev disappeared, and he still has about 1.5M unswapped new coins! We need to understand who was the one dumping the coins at Bittrex, that's why I was asking Richie to help us identify the thief (no answer from him btw)... Was it someone from C-cex, or it was someone from Dev team, or the c-cex wallet was stolen from c-cex or dev by some hacker (trojan maybe?)..? If it was not the Dev himself, this project could continue with new DRZ somehow. If it was him, hen we still have risk of new coins being dumped too...

curiously they look like they were sent directly from c-cex wallet to bittrex. here is an example transaction, https://chainz.cryptoid.info/drz/block.dws?245616.htm
