Almost anyone who recommended any alt six months ago can now claim to be an expert... since the majority of major and minor alts at least doubled in USD price. The popular things are these tokens also... I don't know if they truly qualify as alts. People don't want to wait any longer, just gamble on an ICO and sell off their tokens.

why not. there are a lot of alternative acording to bitcoin.
that is actually right, there is eth and waves, as you can see they seem more known today because its price is moving fast. the first time i heard eth its price is about $60 and now its $380+ i guess? so as everyone can see its worth it to buy altcoin, there is also a future in it. |

Mooncoin lol. That coin is pretty old and the dev for that coin is long gone, though most investors that purchased that coin long ago are still trying to get the price of it up. I remember when it was trading in only a few liteoshi's and now that the price of Litecoin is up I think that Mooncoin could get some progress made on its tech. |

I've been reading through this forums for the past few weeks and all I see is "this coin is dead" or "everything is a shit coin". Is there any alt coin with potential to invest in or is it only bitcoin? I don't mean like a few here and there, I mean over 100 coins.
Yes there are many coins that are dead and shitty but if you did you research right you will know which ones to invest but if you don't have the guts and try the risk to invest the coin that you chosen, you don't belong here don't come and ask some questions that which alt coins that are worth buying there are many alt coins out in the market so researching your own is your best option because each one of use has different perspectives and interests so do yourself a favor and write down on what alt coin you want and what do you think on it. As you said there are 100s of coins so there are many options to you to choose on which alt coins you want.  |

IMO very good growth prospects has minereum... With MNE you can generate your own minereum token for a small fee, and is the the first with selfmining... For now you can buy it on livecoin only, if you compare MNE with other coins with the same supply, you can see MNE is very undervalued right now

Iota seems to have a good trading market in the exchanges. But I will still go for ETH though it is on a down currently but it has shown that it pumped to it's new ATH, so there's a possibility that in the near future when bitcoin will pump together ETH will ride on it. And two other coins that is a choice of mine are XMR and Zec. |

Well, lately Mooncoin has had some sort of development and support from its community. The Moonword feature, alongside with new wallet updates, makes this coin alive and kicking after quite some time since launch. Maybe that is the reason why it has been experiencing uptrends in value over the last months. As well as you do, I believe that it could get some progress done as time goes by. It has huge potential for growth making it one of the most ideal altcoins worth buying right now. Things aside, there are other good altcoins which are worth buying and holding for the long term. Such coins that remain as the top 5 most prominent cryptocurrencies on the market, are those which have great popularity and promising features. If you choose one that has constant development and innovation, it will likely succeed and remain alive for years to come. You can always try to invest into Ethereum, ZCash, Monero, and even Mooncoin which has an active community and development. Whatever you do, make sure to investigate about an specific altcoin before making a bad decision that will affect your finances. Just my opinion.  |

I picked bancor, mobilego and bitcoin. Bancor and mobilego the top 2 highest in crypto crowdsale history. I think Bitcoin will go segwit this year. Bancor I am confident it goes $500 million market cap. Mobilego should have deep funds enough to become a top contender in the gaming arena.

There's a lot of alt coins worth buying like LTC, ETH, DASH etc. you can make a research in the internet what altcoin is raging up and maybe you should buy or invest while it's on way to the peak so when it's on the peak or when it is on it's highest price you can now sell altcoins where you invested and you can earns 2times or more. There a lot of altcoin that's now raging up you don't know maybe tom or the orher day it will be one of the highest altcoin.

There are tons of altcoins I thought were dead but turned out to be alive after all. LTC was assumed dead for years until it went crazily pumped. The Chinese miners likes it so much but after segwit, it flew like its meant for high altitude.

I think buying coins that are well known and have good value would just be about riding the wave because of speculations about pumps and the alike and maybe we are only going to buy such coins purely on the basis of their stability. Eth is still enjoying its limelight and maybe its among the many alts worth investing in. |
