All coins that have an actual usage in a decent marketplace are worth buying.All these will eventually go over 1b market cap, if not already there.Just a matter of time..

It is pumped quite high. It might drop soon. the current alt coins in my portfolio are ANT, Ardor, Siacoin, Lisk , Ripple , Golem contemplating which my last will be either waves or IOTA what do you think ? |

whats everybodys thoughts on Golem / GNT
It is pumped quite high. It might drop soon. Golem was around $0.02 not that long ago, the price did receive a pump. I haven’t noticed the ANN thread for that coin that much inside the Altcoin currency list within this forum though so I am not that sure if the coin was just pumped because of various Bitcoin exchanges listing it. |

There are tons of altcoins I thought were dead but turned out to be alive after all. LTC was assumed dead for years until it went crazily pumped. The Chinese miners likes it so much but after segwit, it flew like its meant for high altitude.
Yeah. Even shitcoins that were once forgotten have risen from the dead, making them increase in value and establish themselves in the market. With the rise of Bitcoin's value during the year, the whole cryptocurrency market has followed, making altcoins more valuable than they used to be before. Those who have held onto Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, have experienced massive gains. The good news is that cryptocurrencies have become more popular than ever, with new investors joining in to make the whole ecosystem bigger than ever. With this in mind, I think that crypto is here to stay and will evolve for many years to come. Right now, you could consider buying the top 5 altcoins as they are the most prominent cryptocurrencies on the market, with constant development and innovative features. Just my thoughts.  |

All the coins in the crypto market are certainly worth buying for both trading and for investment, but i tend to buy ETH, LTC, XRP because this coin for me is the best coin for long term investment.

Yeah I agree. These coins are the top when it comes in market cap and mining powers. Always buy altcoins with high market cap as they have great platform and large community support. |

But those who invested in them back in 2015 were able to get anywhere from 10x to 100x profits, right? It depends anyway. Some people get frustrated after one or two years and dump their coins. Some others patiently waited for many years to sell their coins at a good profit. I am sure that the second category is smaller in number than the first one. |

IOTA.
IOTA is a good coin for longterm, Worth it because iota cannot generalized smart contracts because DAGs don't have total transaction ordering, However you can do some types of smart contracts it doesn't matter in which order the transactions happen as long as both don't conflict and were valid when they were created. Timestamps are coming to IOTA from the latest developer update on 7/2/2017, Getting great input from Cyril and Serguei, as we are now adding the ability to have timestamps. |

Yeah I agree. These coins are the top when it comes in market cap and mining powers. Always buy altcoins with high market cap as they have great platform and large community support. Ethereum may have the potential to go up though the price of it been going down lately because the price of Bitcoin is being really volatile. I am not so sure if it’s just people playing with the price of Bitcoin or if the people that are in various Altcoins are exchanging their coins into Bitcoin and making a fiat withdrawal. If Ethereum goes up to around a thousand dollars then there will be a bunch of people talking about it. |

I've been reading through this forums for the past few weeks and all I see is "this coin is dead" or "everything is a shit coin". Is there any alt coin with potential to invest in or is it only bitcoin? I don't mean like a few here and there, I mean over 100 coins.
Ofcourse you need to know any coins other than bitcoin because in ordee to have a high profit. Alts coins are not shit coins because it depends on the person who is holding it because if you know how to value alt coins you will be irritated if you have one and you will be learn to hold it and in future you will have a good luck. |
