No, selling everything would just not be smart, if you consider this with all kind of events that are upcoming this year.
The halving that is coming will let the price rise so you will lose profit when you are selling your bitcoins plus the bitcoin is getting bigger these days so that is also a reason to not sell the bitcoin at all.

Well selling all of your bitcoin yeah it is not a good decision that is why there is other way to make profit  since bitcoin price is not stable our minds was confused but the is a way that you can be still get the profit if the price will continues to increase after you sell.. just sell 25%-50% of you bitcoins the rest sell it if the price will continue. if the price not continue you are lucky that you already make a profit so you can buy again bitcoin for a cheap price. .

I think it is a good idea right now to liquidate all your stocks and stuff like that before it is too late and nobody wants it anymore. The stock market is doomed to crash and is so fragile that even a small event can trigger its crash.

it would be interesting to see how the stock market responds to Mr. Trump's election as president, when he actually gets on board.

The best thing, according to me would be to sell 30 to 40% of your bitcoin and buy into other top 20 to 30 coins as per the largest market cap and hold on to them for the years to come.
You will be able to diversify and reduce your risks.

That strategy is good because as of right now the bitcoin’s price is going very high and it is still going up , and the higher it is the less people will be able to get their hands on so their best option is to switch the top altcoin that are close to bitcoin , because they will be easier to mine to get and the exchange rate will go higher the higher the price of bitcoin will.

Yeah this seems like a good time to diversify our investments and try to still obtain some profits by selling a portion of our bitcoin and then buy altcoins that are probably being dumped and wait for a price increase in those.

there are times in bitcoin world that are good times to buy bitcoin as much as you can. I have already done that at least twice and already got my money back with lots of profit. whenever there is a nice dip in price and the market is sleeping and I speculate a close big rise, I get in with all I have. these days are the days after I got in with all I have and I have once again made my principle back.

I don't think that next year 2017/2018 is going to be enough just to make the bitcoin reach and make itself into a 6 digit value coin.

But I won't do it anyway better to sell some unused goods that I don't need anymore and I would sell some of my coins but still keep on holding.

Nothing is impossible, I agree with you. I believe bitcoins and I will continue holding. Bitcoin already prooved to be a strong and trusted currency. Who is here today I consider a pathfinder, because few persons in the world are using bitcoins now, when many start coming to crypto currency, the first persons here will be already rich holding their bitcoins and I want to be one of them.

Selling everything can be good, but it also depends on the point if you think you will make more profit in the future, I would not do it.
I even think because of the halving the bitcoin will go to a much higher amount, after the halving has been done they people will sell of course and than its the point to sell them on the best moment to make a lot of profit.

On the last week of 2016 bitcoin made a jump that put almost all altcoins in the red, and i really doubt this will change over this year, those altcoins is almost a sure they wont be able to recover their values, soo sell might be a good solution even loosing some bitcoins. I had been able to make a small profit at stelar last year, thanks to the lending that were quite high, this year i do pretend to invest into another altcoin, something of top 5 altcoins being traded at poloniex.
