When the time comes I think that you should sell everything because that is what you are doing it for. So the real question is when to sell everything, but that is totally up to you. If you think you have made enough money then it is up to you to stop.

Its not the smartest thing that you can do with selling now as you can see now you see also that the value is not even that high now so it would be better if you are waiting longer. The halving is also coming and that can be perfect for the people who already have Bitcoin.

Selling is good at the end of this year most likely but right now it would just be a stupid act because the price is gonna rise from the bitcoin without any doubts. I think if you sell them now you will lose a lot of profit on it later, and you will also regret it.
I think your judgment to sell at the end of the year is due to halving coming? I think there is no guarantee prices will end the year higher than now? no one can predict it precisely. so sell now or later is depending on you. you who own calculations for time in selling You have an overall right mind when it comes to halving.. Since we wont know how the people react, it can come in spurts. But definitely not the entire price overnight.. I see it increase over a period of 3 months after. prices rise as demand for bitcoin is large if halving happened would change little on the total amount of bitcoin and will have a big impact when demand is also great. just think if halving happens that people want to just sell it? then the high prices will not happen in one night or so

I believe that it is not a good thing to sell everything at once because there is a possibility that you will regret it. There is a chance that the price still goes up after you sold everything so you lose money there.
Indeed, I think a lot of people if they sold it right now will regret it later because the profit will now be not much compared with the future. Most likely you could make a lot more profits in a couple months because of the halving. Yes if a person sell all his bitcoin after the halving there will be a lot of money to be taken because halving event is giving us so much profit and the value of bitcoin is going up. There are now a lot of people that is holding their coins and that is because the value is not high enough to sell it with a nice profit and that is quite bad. Many people see that the halving is coming but the most people are thinking that the value will not even rise in the halving, but you never know what can happen. Selling everything now around this time is not that bad because as you can see now you see that the value of Bitcoin is not even rising and it is also not that low. But if you are for sure that the value will rise of Bitcoin than you can better wait indeed until the value will be more in the future so you can also get some more profit. The hard thing is that you never know it from before and that is the problem, maybe it can also reduce in the future.

I think the point of the original post was that the economies around the word are slowing down and to sell but not necessarily sell bitcoin. At least I take it that way. To me, if the dollar gets weaker and stocks drop in value, then maybe it's a good time to invest in crypto currencies instead.
Yeah, investing in crypto seems to be good at a moment, as we can expect much higher price in the future, and if they are saying to sell all bitcoins, then not the right time to do it, we need to wait for next couple of months. nothing is guaranteed, bitcoin doesn't guarantee you success in long run, as we don't know where bitcoin will land in future, but if you hold bitcoin at a moment then just hold it for next couple of months. Yeah many people are waiting for the future and what Bitcoin is going to bring us. We are not even sure if it is going to be positve so it is a big gamble that people are taking. So if you want to be safe wait for a couple months because the price is rising and then just sell.

bitcoin has been introduced and abuse , but what is the real purpose of it, its decentralized hard to trace currency or token, that can be used to pay any services across the globe where bitcoin is accepted, and yeah investing on it is quit profitable but don`t sell everything just to invest on it.

I'd say it's the good moment to sell. We're coming really close to the 500 and there is a very little tiny chance to break such a strong resistance. It means price is going to drop after. Maybe not a lot, but it's going to drop that's for sure!

And that should be perfect if you can make more profit in the future, but you dont know when the time will be.

Selling every bitcoin that you have at once is not the best thing you can do. It is always better to save some for later because you will never know. The next month the prices can even be higher so can make more money.
You can sell all to make profit and then wait for some days for a lower price so that you can still profit when the price goes up this will maximized your earnings. Yes, I will also not sell all of my bitcoins because there is a chance of price increase the whole year I think and if we do not sell all of them the demand will be at a level so the price will increase further more also. I do not want to take a chance to miss any opportunity bitcoin will provide us. I think if the price is high why do not you sell everything? bitcoin prices are very volatile so the price will ebb quickly after all once you sell it at high prices. I'm sure there are times when the price of bitcoin down ? nah you can buy again on that day. and sell it all over again. I thought it was quite profitable

It will raise for sure over the years so don't sell your bitcoin you will regret it in the future. Yeah, exactly. Selling your Bitcoins now is the stupidiest step IMO. Bitcoin is rising now and before it reaches $500 I would recommend anyone to sell a single coin. As for selling everything to buy Bitcoins now, idk, it's risky, but on the other hand you can win really big.

It still always follows that if the supply is low the demand is high.

We cannot be that much optimistic about increasing price of bitcoin since it is really unpredictable and does not follow any clear trend. To be honest I am not that much optimistic about increasing of price of bitcoin as you say, yes it may increase but there is not any special algorithm to predict it and then talk with accuracy. And as much the adopter sand the buyers increase the price of bitcoin will increase, everyone is in the preparation of halving to buy as much as they can and you will see at the halving there will be a highest demand and the price will be above that 1k$. -snip- Without doubt the price goes higher and might reach $500 by the falling weekend. As the price rise is taking place regularly even holding for weeks will get you big profit.
No, holds for a week is not a good suggestion, we have to suggest the holders to hold their bitcoins for longer at least for an year to earn good profit as in the case of week sometime a week comes to occur where we do not see any rise in value.
