What a bunch of cry babies First and foremost, when you invest your coins into an ICO please read the small print. When you are buying the coin you are technically, in a legal sense, donating it. So, it's actually their money. Second, go back and read the announcement. It said April 11th if everything goes well and everyone generated passphrases. I'm just too lazy to copy and paste it. I think some of the cry babies are those who wanted to flip their Lisk into Waves, even though I guess they planned to sell for whatever they could get off-exchange? It's not like if a coin is released on the 11th, it necessarily hits an exchange that same exact day. Waves buy-in (optimal) is on the 12th. So that makes little sense really to cry about. I also expect some of the cry babies to simply be those who didn't buy-in to Lisk from the start, or those who want to catch a dump below ICO levels. FUD is useful in that case. Otherwise it'd be people acting against their best interest, bashing a coin they still own. Crypto can be silly sometimes. Very true! I was actually looking at Waves. But I ain't selling LISK for it.

This thread is so entertaining sometimes.
Do most of you people even know what you invested in? A short delay and the *throw my monies at you and now give me ROI* crowd starts panicking. To all you guys, i ask, why? Why do you throw your money at things you clearly demonstrate that you do not understand. Things like not saving private keys make me think if there was any reason other than *making ROI on my monies* that made you even look at crypto.
If a large majority of the lisk *community* is full of such people, then i think there is an extremely exaggerated notion that Lisk already has big *community*. The reality is that lisk will have a large community when the majority of holders are people who understand the crypto landscape, know how to code / test or know how to shut their mouths and accept the risk they took if they have nothing else to offer.
I hope lisk succeeds, i really do. However, i think that it is clearer than ever that there are a lot of weak hands bagholding the ICO tokens that will want to get out cause they don't understand the real risks of investing in a cryptographic software token and are just looking for the next *train* to *hop* on to.
- Peace
Finally someone with brains. I think most real holders are on the Lisk forum and not here. All the crying people here are the weak hands crying that their money is now frozen for 2-4 weeks.

I'm watching ETH and if i see dump i will know what is going on. Lisk will have chance for good pump only if ETH went down. But as i see ETH is still strong and people actually believing in it.

+100000!! With all those millions usd potentially rise they just need to pay 1k usd to one person and will be happy to send manually email reminder every day prior launch.
I'm starting to think there is something very weak behind this delay.... If dev are busy with code, just pay someone's to send reminder.
They wouldn't even need to send email manually. They could have automated the process sent all the emails out, in bursts, within 30-45min tops. Hell, they are targeting JavaScript developers and there are plenty of node developers interested in the project that would have taken 5 minutes out of their day to throw together a script to do just that for them.

I wonder if people even know what they are buying half the time here. Not just for this coin, but any coin. But you bring up a good point. If someone wants their money back right now and invested using XCR (which I assume many of us did here) just ask for a refund, and cash out your XCR for BTC. Of course if/when Lisk takes off, you may cry later.

Holding my bag but extremely unprofessional for the kids to make a move like this. You need to plan ahead and be able to foresee things that will happen. Young business people make this mistake way too often. And its only experience that makes them learn. Unfortunate in this situation that all of us investors are on that learning ride with the dev team as well.
Never mind, you, the matured, experienced and wise man gave money to the university student and a German lawyer-wanker, the LISK scammers. It is "unfortunate", isn't you idiot? on the lawyer. he did fail to reply to my ICO due diligence email, which i consider to have been unprofessional. i also have not seen any results from said lawyer or any true reply/people behind LISK sharing their info/plans. Not good. ie. The dev of Bitswift for how small they are (for now only) is also on linked-in but even added myself way back as per me asking him directly, not to mention they are always reachable by email (somewhere in Ontario, Canada) and even have (had?) a 1-800 ph# setup. They are also reg'd with the CDN government with docs to prove it, they have HUGE stuff coming too. THAT is how you run a legit business (crypto or not), not this typical BS have-hidden ICO crap. It is also obvious lost of the ICO BTC was self-bought. I hope LISK makes it big though sure....guess we'll see. like mentioned above...seems mostly whiners with barely 1btc here in it lol, the big btc holders will be patient for ROI as usual.

Refunds are exclusive for XCR transactions. There are no refunds for Bitcoin or other altcoin exchanges.

The Waves release was exactly the thought I had on why the delay. That may not be true, but it is very coincidental. It's actually a genius comeback by LISK to combat the dumping that would have happened on April 12th. Well played! And if people are flipping out about this delay because they want to participate in the Waves ico.....you do realize that they wont launch until the fall sometime? OK, maybe not that late, but there is a long pause between the end of ico and release

This is not a delay couse it wasn't written on a stone but I think this is great since nobody can get in! Only early adopters are in! Regards

The question I'd have is... who are they selling to on the 11th, so they can buy Waves on the 12th? Just because a coin releases on the 11th doesn't mean it will hit an exchange that same exact day. There is usually a delay. So that means people would need to sell off an exchange (in theory, they could do that now if they wanted to). I wouldn't think there would be that many folks selling so early, before a coin even hits an exchange, to rush to get that 20% Waves bonus... it makes little sense.

To be honest Bob, I have to admit you have been a class act compared to these wankers. At least you told the crowd, fuck you, I am a marketer and I am pumping and dumping this shit. It was still a scam, but at least - unlike these wankers who talk about all kind of nonsenses like decentralized applications - you said clearly you pump the thing and will dump it, and then you will get out. So everyone with over IQ 80 and age over 14 knew that no matter what, shouldn't invest in Bob's coins. (Of course, still you shouldn't scam the under 14 and IQ 70 absolute idiot children who still invested in your P&Ds, but that is another matter). On the other hand, these LISK and IOTA scammers come up with all kind of blatant lies to lure money out from these greedy idiots - not classy at all.

I've just got a reminder from Lisk Devs
Validate your ICO Passphrase! Important! Every ICO participant should do it! Hello,
You are receiving this email because you participated in the Lisk ICO. According to our records, you haven't validated your passphrase yet.
Validating your passphrase is extremely important. We are therefore actively encouraging all users to validate their passphrases at their earliest convenience. This is in order to be absolutely certain that you have recorded the correct passphrase. Otherwise you risk not being able to access your Lisk account after we launch. Validation requires that you enter your passphrase on the Lisk ICO website, where your passphrase will be verified against the public key we have on record. No passphrases are transmitted over the network, all validation is performed locally within the browser.
Please refer to the following guides in order to successfully generate and/or validate your passphrase:
