SO you have to validate your passphrase then? is this true? I only generated and saved my keys....

Yeah, you can validate them, like, 1000 times (weird feature) if you want. However, I could not tell you if this is a mandatory process or if it is just something to ensure more security regarding the validity of the keys, because a mistake can always happen Wink !
do you have to validate more than once?

Once is enough.

I could not tell you. I validated my key, but when I saw that I could do it again, I did it one next more time, but I stopped after this because nothing new happened. Maybe someone from the development team will be able to enlight us.

Edit : look the post just above me.

Alternatively, take a flying fuck into a rolling doughnut hole and admit that if you idiot & greedy enough to "invest" in a zero experienced university student and a wanker-lawyer (who doesn't mind to give his name to a blatant scam), then you shouldn't be surprised when the whole scam is collapsing.

In the past in Iota thread you said "one scam at a time". Now I feel myself like you have cheated on me. I hope it's just a threesome and you didn't really break up with Iota...

LoL That was at least funny Sergey.

On the serious note, it is too late son, your crime has been committed - now you are the yesterday news. When you will be in jail for your blatant IOTA scam and the horny prison population fuck so hard your tight ass with their giant Belarusian dicks, then you will wish be in this threesome.

This is going to turn into a full blown porno. Where do I get my popcorn Cheesy

There's a Dapp for that.

I don't think it's mandatory but it was assuring all keys were valid.

Code:
Validate your ICO Passphrase!
Important! Every ICO participant should do it!

Guys I don't understand it. Why should I risk security issues again. I saved the file. Is there really the possibility that its wrong? Kidding me?
With bitcoin you try to make paperwallets offline to be sure, that there is no hacking possibility and I should repeatedly risk it here?

The fact that you are complaining about having to check your passphrase to make sure it's valid is funny as shit.  Grin

Sometimes I stop believing in humanity. This whole ICO process has been the simplest ever with all steps well explained. Wonder why still so many people couldn't care less about their own investments.

I guess you can never underestimate people enough.

Natural selection is the differential survival and reproduction of individuals due to differences in phenotype.[1] It is a key mechanism of evolution, the change in heritable traits of a population over time.

I've just got a reminder from Lisk Devs

Validate your ICO Passphrase!
Important! Every ICO participant should do it!
Hello,

You are receiving this email because you participated in the Lisk ICO. According to our records, you haven't validated your passphrase yet.

Validating your passphrase is extremely important. We are therefore actively encouraging all users to validate their passphrases at their earliest convenience. This is in order to be absolutely certain that you have recorded the correct passphrase. Otherwise you risk not being able to access your Lisk account after we launch. Validation requires that you enter your passphrase on the Lisk ICO website, where your passphrase will be verified against the public key we have on record. No passphrases are transmitted over the network, all validation is performed locally within the browser.

Please refer to the following guides in order to successfully generate and/or validate your passphrase:

...

We make photocopy, downloads and print of our passphrase and still some are not valid  Huh.

Their ico systems has failures at the time the ico was creating addresses...

Open a support request:

https://lisk.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Your concerns will be addressed.

I sent a support ticket .. I was asked to provide this info

ICO account email :
Exchange ID number :
Crypto-currency exchanged:
Amount exchanged:
Blockchain Transaction ID's:
Lisk Address:

WTF? Make it simpler to reset the password from the site. After all, I am login with email and password anyway to the site and that info is there anyway.

In any case, I sent that info that was asked and nothing is done.

I asked for reseting my passphrase a month ago, actually on this forum.

It would be stupid to make it simpiler. They need to ask those question cause if not it would only make it simpler for a hacker to reset your passphrase.

He ment that the procedure to verify passphrases is useless and I agree. It's just a reason to stall the launch.

Right at this moment, there are hundreds of Pending tickets concerning keys rest. This process takes time and it is done on a case by case basis.

You're not the only one requesting your keys to be reset. You would be surprised at how many people wrote down the incorrect key.
