25 txs per block ? well ... what if there will be 1000s transactions per minute?
1000 tx cost about $10 at ICO prices and $100 at IOU prices in network fees. At this moment it takes about 7 minutes to resolve 1000 tx. That means the network will be very busy for that time, but the attack becomes very expensive after a while. After the tx are all processed, we are back to normal. Over the next months the LISK price goes up (attack becomes more expensive) and the maximum tx per block is higher. Resulting in an even more expensive attack. E.g. if the price goes to 50ct per LISK and the block size will be increased to 100 tx per block, 1000 tx cost $50 and take 100 seconds to resolve. That means making the Lisk network unusable for 10 hours will cost someone $18000. 100 tx per block is by far not the end. More are definitely possible. We also might introduce the use of an optional higher fee or a split of tx per block (old and new ones). There are many possibilities here.

Higher fees, splits, or other tricks are obviously possible but not natural, imo. The best and most realiable are simple solutions with natural scaling possibilities, like changing block size with hardfork in Bitcoin (which unfortunately will not happen, as we know, in favor of complex and fancy segwit). Anyway, the above is the attack scenario, but what if the network will become very popular, and users will be just doing 1000s txs per minute on regular basis? Is this technology ready to naturally scale up to high tx volumes in next 4-5, or even 10 years?

Is this technology ready to naturally scale up to high tx volumes in next 4-5, or even 10 years? Of course. Lisk is secured in a federated way, same as BitShares is. That means 1. updates can be introduced much more easy and 2. the network can scale much better. E.g. BitShares 2.0 is doing 1000tx per block.

Haha Dude know your precious metals! Gold is a Super Conductor, of course it has advantages over all those things you mentioned!
haha Dude, try and comprehend what I am saying. I know very well that Gold has great properties as a conductor. LOL My point is that it is not primarily utilized for that. Only in very specific applications. Something like 80% of Gold is used in Jewelry because it's pretty and woman want it. If it wasn't used in jewelry, it would be MUCH more available, much cheaper and probably utilized more in other industries.

I think women want it more because it has value then it is pretty. 1st thing to learn about women. They crave security more then anything, so having gold provides the feeling of security.

Wow Lisk on Yobit going strong above $2 at .0044. This will be somewhat a reflection at launch. If Digixdao can hit a $35 high and trade at $10 now then Lisk will surely trade above $5 at launch. The HYPE is REAL.

NO CHEAP COINS FOR YOU. lets see someone basing his calculation on a IOU which has only a tiny fraction of the coins which is listed on yobit who seem to be buying themselves one buy was 56btc you telling me someone bought 56btc already and is selling it and buying again and again, its obvious whats happening and here we have people like iambitcoin5 saying yes $5 at launch amazing you willget sellorders at that price not buy orders if your gonna conceal your not bullshitting atleast tone it down.
