As I see that there are more and more new users joining the lisk discussion, I'd like to advice you not to vote for gdtpool as it's just pointless and you won't make any money. They change their delegates almost every month, and to be eligible for the reward, you have to change your votes every month too, and such change costs 1 LSK, yet in a month with them you earn maybe 0.01 LSK if you have a small wallet (less than 500 LSK). Instead, vote either for elite that may not be the most likeable one, but at least they are consistent and pay you, or of course get interested in robinhood and their liberspirita, liskpro pool.

Will devs consider lowering the transaction fee in the near future? From my understanding this is the main blocker limiting the price of LSK

I hope they reduce it with the next rebranding and sdk release. As the price of LISK has grown now, this step is definitely needed for wider adoption.

Exactly. This is the only reason why I haven't invested more in LSK yet. Although I am considering to do so, before the rebranding. I'm still pissed off at my friend who bought 3.5 k LSK in January (~0.15 USD/LSK) and didn't tell me about it at that time

Don't be mad, if you open your eyes and use your mind you can and will make returns even higher than that, that's about 33X ROI compared to todays' price. Not to say that's a bad return it's awesome of course but a lot of money is made in this space if you can spot the good ones early on.
It's not your friends duty to tell you about investment opportunities. I've been fortunate to have made outrageous returns and never told anyone about this except posting on this forum with my alt account, in fact it's not smart to tell anyone about your investments and their returns as this usually backfires later on in 9/10 cases

Your friend made a speculative buy and he was lucky that it paid off - nothing is guaranteed in the crypto world. Now could be another good time for buying - or price could drop much further - the tricky part is getting the timing right - I tend to buy all the way down, will never make as much money - but also will never miss out =)

They might be right and they might equally be wrong. Trust your gut and brains and don't invest what you cant afford to lose. at the end of the day there are countless opportunities in every aspect of life, and we can and will always win some and lose some.

If you look at the forum posts back in March whilst the price was 7k it felt like there were rats jumping off a sinking ship - I didn't sell out - but I'd also stopped buying at that point - I certainly wish I had kept buying LOL

For exemple :
- RobinHood didn't share 80% ! He shares 100% !
- LiberSpirita shares 0% but need to be vote in order to get the 100% Robinhood shares and the 20% Liskpro.com share.

So yes, it's a good tool ! But need to be more accurate !

I think I didn't express myself clearly enough. I wasn't interested in investing into cryptocurrencies beside occasional btc purchase to load up my market wallet, usually my friend was sharing his ideas with me, and just like previously was said, it was always up to me whether I wished to jump in or pass, but this time, he didn't tell me he started to look into cryptos, and told me already after he increased initial investment by twelvefold.

Hey. This year I lost about $ 28k in hyip programs and I got the idea to invest about $ 15k in LSK. I just want to make up for the loss of my stupidity. Buy LSK and forget about it until you recover the losses, do you think that is a good idea? This time I can be very patient. Not only Lisk mate but any other open source platforms like it are inherently capable of becoming a decentralized internet, you are also forgetting

That internet is not a platform, you have a world of possibilities, not thousands, millions of services they all use the same protocol to connect to others

Whenever you could persuade the whole world to use a decentralized internet, Lisk will be one of the choices.
