Exchanges and wallets are more and more regulated and the government tries to get info from them. The day may come where the gov seizes and exchange and freezes transactions (sort of like China now only worse.) . Never give somebody else control over your assets.

Hello everyone as the title says ^
Do you store your bitcoins online or on a wallet on your computer, perhaps cold storage?
I already stored it on my online wallet. I will save it then when the price reach the amount that I expected, I will convert it into fiat cash. One advantage of online wallets is that you can access them from anywhere,  nevertheless of which and what device you are using. There are also disadvantages using online wallet, it will taking your bitcoins out of your control.

I keep my btc exchange wallet. easily I can transfer my btc and alt coin. other I can trade and earn.
so I like exchange wallet for keep btc.

exchange and offline wallets are good for monitoring payments and transactions. It can be useful anytime.
One day, when exchange wallets turn into a scammer, dont cry or even regret because you have made a wrong decision from the beginning and you can not blame anyone for your mistake. Our money is our money and we have to keep them in our own hand, not by any third party wallet
i personally using blockchain and yobit wallet, but there is no doubt that exchange wallet are more risky and if the exchange got hacked or something else happened it will be my own fault. because i already know that exchange wallet is not a wise decision, but i think still it is very easy to create a online wallet and that is the reason that i am using online and exchange wallet.

just be careful not to get locked out of your account because some exchange wallet providers charge for pin retrieval
and yes they are convenient when you want to trade for other altcoins.

am still using a blockchain wallet on phone and pc

Just do not keep all eggs in one basket Smiley

great example, keep it in multiple wallet but make sure that its safe and note your password so that even you forget it you can open it. right now i used blockchain.info and coins.ph as my wallet
yeah save your bitcoin in multiple wallet is much more safe because there is a lot of hack problems and if someone want to hack your bitcoin then your some bitcoin would be safe in other wallet that is reason because i also keep my bitcoin in multiple wallet.

Yeah if you're a trader I'm sure you'd prefer to keep your bitcoin in exchange. Because it will be simpler to trade. But you have to stay careful with the security

I would prefer to put in trading site but only on the best and most secured based on my evaluation, I have money in poloniex which I have been stocking there for years already and there is no single problem I encountered. This is a liquid asset or investment, anytime we can withdraw and covert to fiat so that give some kind of convenience to us.

I like to store Bitcoin in most online exchanges because I would be able to have fiat ready to cash out when and if I needed it.
I also like to have a few Altcoins just sitting around just incase the price goes up so I could earn a few Bitcoin on the side.

I use bitaddress.org to create Bitcoin Wallet. especially vantity wallet. I don't think store bitcoin in exchange is a good way, remember MTGOX. bitcoin is the money you can total control, I don't want anyone else have any chance to control my bitcoin.

Just an advice, if you have a lot of bitcoin there then do not put all your bitcoins there and learn how to make a cold storage or safe wallet for your bitcoin for long term so you will not encounter so much problem like getting hacked or cannot be open your account. You can use paper wallets which is the most popular here because it is cheap and also invulnerable for hacks.

I used to store bitcoin online since I don't have issue in its security. Besides, using 2fa would be better to make hacking impossible.

If you don't feel safe with blockchain then you are right that they are not safe to store your bitcoin, It is even better to just have paper wallet or hardware wallet or even desktop wallet because it is much safer than online wallet because blockchain has a record of hack attacks so if i were you i will rather try other wallet to be safe than to just stick with risky online wallets.

I store my bitcoin in my wallet and I withdraw it little by little if needed, however I try to save it for the future value of bitcoin. Because I just expected a higher value of Bitcoin in the future.

I use the leading online wallet in my country. It is trusted and contained both local currency wallet and bitcoin wallet so you can exchange it anytime. I would like to add the benefits it has including the rebates when you purchase something using their wallet. Also you can use it to pay your bills through their wallet and receive an amount back like rebate.
