Some people don't view alot of things as illegal these days. Look at marijuana, for instance. It is not legal in many states but are in alot of other American cities such as Colorado and some parts of California.

many people use it as go to money especially when your doing illegal work. It's much easier for them because it's anonymous. The fact is all currency is being used as illegal activities.

I see more and more acrticles of bitcoin being used for illegal activities
will this hurt bitcoin in the long run , will governments ban this just like they started to do wih paying in cash for some services
to harden the use of illegal , and money laundering

The damage has already been done,I think what we see now is people figuring out that a lot of the garbage they threw bitcoins way was a typical smear campaign. Lot of the articles refer to the same issue over and over and people will either tune it out or look deeper.

Bitcoin could be used illegally, but the government's are doing a surprising lot, doing size-related searches on the blockchain. But gold, diamonds, PayPal and cash have been used illegally too.

Except that banks and governments control fiat. So they want be banking or scarring people from using fiat.  They don't control Cryptocurrencies.

Even bitcoin is illegal in different countries and also real money is using for illegal activities. Bitcoin just make it a bit secretive for criminals. But anyway criminals just trying to find a good method for their activity nothing special.

Offcourse like many countries people use any kind of ledger of illegal activities. Bitcoin is not special about that.
If you look to the last couple of years I think it even went down. But sure bitcoin is easier to use for criminals..

bitcoin is just like any normal currency. It can used to buy food or drugs, toys or weapons. So it depends only on the owner how he would use his money. so do not blame btc for that. bitcoin have something strong against illegal activities which is every single tx can be traced

even all of the currencies in this world must have been used for an illegal activities. The problem is not the currency itself, because it's not a living things it has no mind. The one who we should blame is the people themselves that using it, because they are a living things and they have mind.

As long as it has a value it can be use to do illegal activities just like other currencies, but I think its not just currencies that can be use in illegal activities.. just like what we saw in movies, criminals have a barter and swap their guns with drugs..

Its fair. Not just of bitcoins value it's been used in illegal activities. Due to the anonymous nature and faster transfer bitcoin is given priority.

They keep sticking the bitcoin to criminal where in the past paper money was used by the criminals to do bad stuff and they didnt have anything to say about that.

Probably only a small amount is being used for illegal activities, but you can also say this
for fiat currency. Criminals will use every possibility they have. Only to bad that this put's

You need not to go somewhere else to find that bitcoin is being used for illegal activities, let alone the selling of gmail and facebook accounts in the digital goods section. in the deep web, there are drugs being sold for bitcoin and its no surprise. we all know fiat and bitcoin is no difference since they both have good value.

Bitcoin is being used for illegal activity of course, Like any currency in the world and criminals use any currency to try and get some profit from it. it's just the fault of those using it and not the currency itself.
