I can confirm it. I asked for some prices from different users over the last days and all gave me a price between 4,5 and 5k. Thus, this is actually the current free market price range. So current price seems somewhere between 3k and 4.5k satoshis.

Hmm. Your world must look a bit gloomy only in black and white. People buying on AE have their's reason. If You buy on AE You may easily sell as well so paying premium for that is in my opinion ok. Btw. I want to pledge 150k for the Foundation and 150k for the deal |
