The wallet will be released soon. Most of the code stuff is done. The devs are waiting for an external designer which currently is doing the GUI. So it could take another fews weeks until release.

Totally agree. IOTA is the new BTC of the iot era. Thus, having a marketcap bigger than BTC is entirely possible imo. I believe many can see this too.

I also have a good feeling about Iota, I have from the beginning. I am not so technical, but I try to follow my gut feeling as much as possible. Because I believe that unconsious processes in the greatest computer in existance (our brain) usually stear us in the direction that is needed.

When the UI is released, and man am I looking forward to this, and the big deal is sealed, who knows what is going to happen...

I found this very inspiring (in general but also marketing standpoint), and I think Iota also has this approach and therefore will add to the Iot landscape.

Hmm...I will allow myself to be a little bit critical here. Im big fan of IOTA but after I read this thread I need to say that people in this thread are hyping and are taking advantage of FOMO. That is it.

That is why they can sell for such huge ROI, it is same as when people buy on pump, it is psychological effect of panic buying, nothing more.

Sure in future buying at this prices could probably be a good deal, very possible. But IOTA is not succsesful yet, it needs to succeed first.

It was similar with NEM, people were buying tokens of NEM at nxtAE for much more than was price after launch. Im sure there will be possibility to buy at better price than now, even IOTA holders will try to sell at high and maby buy more at low. Just because you are able to find 50 people willing to buy for this price doesnt mean, there wont be IOTA holders willing to sell for less in month.

Also, why are they selling if they truly believe IOTA will cost only more and never less. It doesnt make much sense, right? Or maybe cause altruism?

One possibility is that if you think it's 50-50 whether the price will go up or down after the full release, as a holder you could hedge by selling half now and buying back after release, and as a buyer, by spending half of your planned budget now and the rest after the release. Adjust the percentages and proportions according to your estimates.

Hey there!

I have an offer to sell a lot of 343,489 IOTA for 15BTC. Originally, it's from when CfB has offered to record the transaction directly on the blockchain. (That, from my point of view, would have been the safest solution for both seller and buyer.)

Now that CfB's escrow is not possible anymore, I am adapting my offer to sell the lot of 343,489 IOTA for 15BTC with use of this thread's current escrow, Seccour || yassin54.

As CfB has posted instructions on how to transfer IOTAS, what I propose is:

 - The buyer sends the total amount of BTC to the escrow, and informs us his IOTA address where the sold IOTAS should be sent;
 - The escrow confirms having received the 15BTC in the escrow address;
 - I send the IOTAS to the buyer's informed address, by following the above mentioned CfB's instructions;
 - On the confirmation of the IOTAs receival (ex. from consulting https://www.tangle.ninja/explorer), the escrow will send me the total of 15 BTC paid;
 - As an extra assurance layer, after receiving my payment, I'll let both the escrow and the buyer know the seed (private key) of my original address from where the sold IOTAs originated (for the case of an eventual future rollback of the tangle, by knowing the original seed the seller will be able to repeat the transaction, if needed be).


If you are interested in this deal, I request that you please send me your proposal by a reply in this thread (no PM, please, as I don't log in here often) or directly by e-mail to cryptoBanqueiro(at)hotmail.com (preferably both).

The deadline to my offer is iota being traded on exchanges, or whenever I decide so.
