I couldnt sync all chain with new wallet, but then i found old wallet and its working fine. Im using ubuntu 16.
I am using Ubuntu 16 as well. Last time I compiled it I pulled from Ahmed's github: https://github.com/ahmedbodi/terracoin/Maybe my fork is messed up. I notice it is a few commits behind, which I will fix when I get home.

at moment on linux wallet works terrible, huge problems with sync... atleast from command line Did you managed to run auxpow for terracoin? as i tried new wallet doesnt accept new blocks...
I guess auxpow will kick in after the hard fork. I am not having any sync issues on Ubuntu. I compare the blocks pretty regularly to my old wallet and they are always up to date. There is a warning saying that the number of blocks are not what is expected. I believe this is because of lack of mining or when the difficulty drops people hit it hard with their miners. I couldnt sync all chain with new wallet, but then i found old wallet and its working fine. Im using ubuntu 16. You are right. I just recompiled and I am having the same issue. It seems that most peers are getting banded. There is also some crazy peer with a .12 version number. I will open up an issue with Ahmed. Thanks for pointing that out!

Even when i updated with old wallet all blockchain and then started new wallet it continue to ban peers and denied new block. So at moment i stayed on old wallet.

I just checked my daemon - all peers are banned too. I've reverted back to the older wallet also.

Ahmed
What block did you set for the hardfork? I did ask a page or so back, but nobody seemed to know: When will the hard fork be?
Good question - do we have an approximate time/date/block when it will happen?

Right, so everyone should now use the new client I presume? is anyone actually using it? If so, a list of addnodes would be greatly appreciated.

I now have a Linux wallet & a windows wallet running, but am unable to get any connections, not even to each other on the same network using the "connect=" instead of the "addnode=" options - they just don't see each other. I'm also seeing a strange "satoshiclone v12.9" wallet trying to connect....... ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif)

We wanted the hard fork to happen in about three weeks. We need to get the word out that people need to change to the new wallet. We also need to recompile the Windows exes. Any idea about the 12.9 satoriclone peer? It should be terracoin 9.12.1 (unless that was messing with something).

We are going to have to contact a ton of people in those three weeks. I have a linux wallet at home. I can post the nodes, but I know that Ahmed hard coded in the seed nodes and it should automatically detect from them. I want to wait till after the wallet has this final update with the changed hard fork date before posting the nodes though to make sure we are getting updated nodes.

Mandatory Wallet Update!!!
A hard fork will be happening in approximately 3 weeks (block 821700). This will enable merge mining and Dark Gravity Wave difficulty readjustment algorithm.
The code is now located at https://github.com/clockuniverse/terracoin and moving forward all changes will be done on this repository. Open issues on there if you have any.
We will be releasing Windows exes in the next couple of days.
I will double check the Linux compile tonight when I get home from work. I will be notifying Cryptopia and Vircurex after I have double checked the Linux compile, and I will post an update here as well.
Tell me if anyone has any problems or open an issue on the repository.
Thanks!EDIT: Strike though and we are still having the banned peer issue. We are working on it. Thanks!

The new code compiled fine, and I am not getting banned peers. I did have to delete the old block chain and I am re-downloading the blockchain now.
Good work dev! I am currently waiting for the windows wallet to be released soon.

We are about to release a new wallet, so once that happens everyone will have to update their mining wallets. Once that is done I will be happy to add your p2pool to the list.
