Actually Verge has closen ALL possible open doors to someting more serious, no serious business enterprise want to get officially be affilated with porn, easy as that.

Thinking about it i even doubt that the real use case is indeed there, actually again, it may rise a lot more problems. In many countries pornsites need an age verification system, you can not bypass this that easy.
The ONLY use case i right now can think about are "recurring" membership fees.

Actually, if now it will be released that the so called partnership will be with mindgeek, than all it will be is an advertising campaign costing Verge 75M Verge for having them on all pornsites. We have to wait to see if this is the case, but IF so, than its some upper bullshit 1st class and not a partnership with mindgeek, but just being their clients.

USD 1 won't going to happen, never ever after that deal. Some can turn it as they want, just impossible now. The only 1+ USD chance would have been Paypal, Amazon, Ebay, something in that tier and category.
Just having adds now on every pornsite doesn't make it USD 1 automaticly for sure.

While I definitely agree with the legalities you mentioned here and your previous post, 3rd party integration with age verification systems will be key. This still does not hamper Verge rise (no pun intended) on porn sites or for whatever reason. The burden of proof/verification falls on the merchant/service etc etc, not Verge, as it should be.

I also know there will be some resistance from those opposed to porn and other forms of entertainment, but again - with Verge being a key asset traded it still makes XVG, well an asset - regardless of what it's used for.

This "partnership" or whatever it is will benefit both Pornhub and XVG investors. It's a big, bad world out here people, not everyone has morals or, admits to it. Agreed as well. However, as soon as you have again age verification, you have lost the privacy factor. Age Verification just excludes privacy, easy as that.
While i agree that it falls into the merchant service the outcome could be either Mindgeek drops Verge when threatend by the authorities and or Verge has to face some legal responsibility as well. I would not exclude the later having in mind that many authorities just search for a piece to attack crypto. This is very very very hot and dangerous play. Seriously ASCAP has huge influence when it comes to protecting childs and minors, no fun there.

Lets see if the other so called partner is mindgeek and verge is just its client paying for advertising or if its something else.
