XVG is one of the best anonymous coins, if you think monero is anonymous think again. People are very good at hyping a coin when the price is up and soon as the price falls they spit sh**t on a crypto, it's amazing!

what diff wraith makes? Verge was already anonymous BEFORE wraith. Wraith is a nice feature, makes the Anonymous aspect Controllable. it is NOT the anonymous feature. Tor and I2P accomplish that. (from what i get, since the beginning anyway) |

Not sure if anyone already posted but you can now trade XVG on the new and upcoming decentralized exchange, Cryptobridge. I am pretty excited with the hard fork news at block 1,824,150. Hopefully everything will go according to plan.
Can someone please explain what exactly will happen here? Do we get a new coin? Will more coins be issued? No and No. They are just updating the protocol. The blockchain will continue on a new chain. No new coins are being issued. The old chain will stop functioning at the time of the fork. All coins remain the same. Nothing lost, nothing gained. Thank you. So what are the benefits? If any? Supposedly stealth transactions to and from exchanges. To make sure that all stealth transactions will run smoothly, Verge will hard fork at block 1,824,150. You don't need to. Just use the wallet.dat file from the previous wallet and you will have the same keys. Make sure you backup wallet.dat EVERY time you create a new receive address or send coins or you will lose coins. |

How to upgrade on MAC OS ? Simply install new wallet app over old app and use old datadir data? Or i must download whole blockchain using new wallet app?

So can anyone give me some more insight as to how/if Verge is more anonymous than Monero? A guy went on rant to me by saying how verge has a lot of laws and shouldn't even be a privacy coin. Supposedly Verge will not work in countries that block TOR, but shouldn't it be okay through i2P?

I bought verge when it was .20$.. How much change of this getting back there and more? I will hold my verge longer, but I feel better when he price climbs again. Wraith protocol is 100% anonomous? I love the logo and if it is back at .20$ I will even buy more, because I have faith in this agian!

No need to bother any exchanges support on this issue. Thats the way it is. you can still buy/sell/trade on the site however. (sell low, so i can buy low)  |
