I will address both of the questions above.
The masternodes will get 50% of all the PoS blocks. So, in ideal conditions, with 15% PA, if all all 100 mill. coins stake there should be 15 mill. coins generated per year. So, 7.5 mill for MNs per year (maximum) so if there are say 20 MNs running, that would mean 375,000 MOJO per year.
The stake is 15% for another year and then it reduces. We can think about ways for the MNs to be compensated. The PoW is only for 6 months to ensure the chain is moving.
Any ideas would be welcome, especially from MN operators.
ED: We can discuss the MN collateral and reward with some input from you.

I hope to have a MN setup guide for Pi and others in time. Now we have to get the V.2.2 out and see how staking is doing. Yes, you can run multiple masternodes on one IP remotely but you will need to know how to set up IP tables in Linux. We will not provide a guide for this as it is too advanced. If you know how to use IP tables in Linux, then go for it. If you provide a decent tutorial, there will be a bounty. Sure ? The network / daemon should not allow that. This completely destroys the Idea behind masternodes which run on different machines / IP to secure the network. AFAIK it's not allowed and maybe the daemon don't allow two masternodes on the same IP regards |

Just a quick update, we have identified and fixed the PoS issue and we are running some debug wallets that seems to stake as they should. There are still a few minor issues to sort out but expect an update / upgrade in the next few days. Once an updated wallet with the PoS fix is out we will start working on the spork system and get that up and running.
ED: We have a MOJO v.2.2 that we are testing now that will have the PoS fixed....

Just a quick update, we have identified and fixed the PoS issue and we are running some debug wallets that seems to stake as they should. There are still a few minor issues to sort out but expect an update / upgrade in the next few days. Once an updated wallet with the PoS fix is out we will start working on the spork system and get that up and running.

Ok good, because you mentioned the POS reward will move towards 1%. I think this is too low. If I have coins then 1% pa is not enough to want to keep a node open 24/7 to stake. I would prefer the final lower limit of POS reward be more like 5% or 6%, as I have seen that work well in other POS coins like Emercoin. Thanks for considering. |

Hello Your transaction has been declined by Mojo network, but not by us. We got the next error for your transaction: Error: The transaction was rejected! This might happen if some of the coins in your wallet were already spent, such as if you used a copy of wallet.dat and coins were spent in the copy but not marked as spent here. P.S. Please check that you use wallet from new network. If that's the case, please contact Mojo developers with this explanation and ask them to clarify your issue. P.P.S I have downloaded 2.1.0 wallet.... |
