Like I said before, I think a new religion of "data processing" will be named sometime in not so distant future.

People already follow this religion but it has not been formally defined yet.

The bronze age religions will be studied by historians, psychologists, neuroscientists  but regular people will stop following these irrational myths.  For the same reason they abandoned other religions of the past.

All of this is part of evolution.

We don't know exactly where AI and genetic enhancement technologies will lead us, but it certainly will not be a bronze age myth that we'll be following.  I envision multiple human species through genetic alterations and AI and nano-tech integration.  I know is sounds far fetched, but look at neurosciences, AI and nano research people are doing now.  It is beyond what we could have ever dreamed of 50 years ago.

Speaking of technology...

I noticed a theme several years ago with breakthroughs in various areas of research...

There were major breakthroughs in tracking the function of the brain... exactly what each cell does, exactly what signals it sends to communicate messages, etc... the brain is being mapped and analyzed so the data can be downloaded to a hard drive (or another brain)...

Mix that with the breakthroughs in cloning technology, and you have eternal life (for those who can afford it)
