Feature request if this is not already added in. Epoch Switch reset timer enabled. Seems even tho you have got rid of dag file generation my miner decides to halt and freeze even tho using current version. I had 1.1 Just before the Epoch Switch was due to restart and moments after it my miner was stuck and did not restart had to totally restart miner. Is their option to add timer in to force restart miner if not then please add option in to force restart miner ever x amount of hours.

Totally depends on your card if tweaked a little but to be honest mining ETH even overclocking cards you don't see much improvement other than more heat and kwh used. Found that out already on R9 280x cards. You can however play around with the following settings --farm-recheck 200 --cl-local-work 256 --cl-global-work 18432 found to be bout the best setting without giving away other settings that I decline to provide. You can play with recheck global and local work to find maximum sweet spot takes a lot of work. Global work you can increase by 1024 each time and find max setting card will cope with. I am taking a wiled guessing this is just like intensity of how hard card is working. I do remember use to do something along lines when mining LTC a while back and playing with same settings to get a good work load, balance and good hash speed. Will take a while to work best settings out for your card testing and moving up the ladder and finding that sweet spot. Once done just remember to note settings down and save for later configurations for other crypto in future

If your 280X is stable at 1120/1500, it may be getting 1-1.5 MH/s more hash than at its stock clock. It will also be using more energy, running hotter, and wearing out faster. My 280X would just overheat and crash. Running at 1100/1500, it is stable, and I gained about 1MH/s performance over a stock clock of 1030/1500. There is not much room for improvement with the Dagger-Hashimoto algorithm. --scryptr

My miner doesn't support dwarfpool. If you can raise 1 BTC (with a group of people), I will add support for it.
I had some time today to sniff the Dwarfpool connection. Strange that after all this time, they would choose to implement a non standard version of the stratum protocol. So its a Dwarfpool weirdness issue. Regular farm mining through eth-proxy works just fine. Im noticing a 7 Mhs increase in speed and more consistent mining speeds on my AMD rigs. FAR LESS THAN 1 BTC-- Eth-Proxy works just fine, it is easy to set-up and run, it is free. I don't use Genoil's Ethminer on my AMD rigs, just on my nVidia rigs. All of them connect through Eth-Proxy. I don't use the stratum mode with Genoil's miner, I just let it mine, and it mines just fine. --scryptr What are you using for your AMD cards? I have been using Claymore 4.3 seems to be ok. Do you suggest anything different? My 6 380x cards are pulling about 128.5 on average. (21.4 percard) With genoil ethminer Im pulling 27.x MHs per Sapphire R9 280X Vapor-X under Ubuntu 14.04 with the proprietary AMD driver set at 15.something. Was running the stock ethminer that came with the ethereum package. Mining speed is roughly a 7 MHs increase on average. Its also farm mining against an eth-proxy running on a different server setup for Expanse on Dwarfpool. I had hoped to use genoil's ethminer stratum feature to hit it directly (sans proxy) so that I could set up a little profit switching with Ethereum and SHIFT but to no avail. Just have to have a little more patience My run script is: #!/bin/bash export GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR=0 export GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE=100 export GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS=1 export GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT=100 ethminer -R ~/.ethash-exp -E old --farm-recheck 300 -G -F http://192.168.1.5:8080/rig3 --cl-extragpu-mem 16 --cl-local-work 256 --cl-global-work 16384 Haven't checked out Claymore yet, but I will now. It is faster.

I HAVE NEVER MINED EXPANSE-- But, the responses in this thread indicate that the Expanse (EXP) blockchain has a far lower mining difficulty than Ethereum (ETH), and that EXP mines at a much faster hash rate. How big is the EXP DAG file? Would mining it with a 750ti rig still be practical? --scryptr

Hello! Question 750Ti , what hashrate should I expect?, since the dag file is pretty close to 2GB which is the memory of these cards.
I am asking because a got a lot of them working in others coins and would like to move them here to ethereum, but compiling last version 113 with dcompute 5.0 i only get 3.4 MH per card, which is so low it doesn't even justify them running imho.
or i am doing something wrong, I can see the vram usage on every card is 1.56 GB so I got some spare to the 2GB limit.
