Dear Genoil.
Why this very usefull option doesn't work on your fork? ethminer --list-devices
Try using: ethminer -G --list-devices and see if that helps. Ohh, silly me )) Thank you very much!

Download the latest 1.0.6 release. It crashes with the parameter -E old if there are no Dag files in the folder. (first run) on a new computer)

Hmm strange. Tried to reproduce on both default and custom directory (both empty) and it just starts generating DAG files..

Hmm strange. Tried to reproduce on both default and custom directory (both empty) and it just starts generating DAG files.. I get the same crash when I have 2 instances of the miner, one card on opencl and one card on cuda. and they share the dag file. To fix it I have to use 2 seperate folders for the dag files.

How do I use the -FF option? I used the -S eu1.ethpool.org:3333 and -FF http://127.0.0.1:8080, it does not work.

So you can combine -F with -FF, but not -S with -FF. The feature was built for a donator who wanted to use two stratum proxies, so if the proxy crashes, you can still continue on the other. I'll add -SF (stratum failover) in a future release.

I just upgraded to 1.0.6 and for the life of me I cannot get nanopool or suprnova to show my worker hashing. Using Win 7, R9 280x, and the following config: ethminer --farm-recheck 300 -G -F http://eth-us.suprnova.cc:3000/user.worker1/50 --cl-global-work 16384 --cl-local-work 128 My GPU usage shows as 100% but in the output, after it shows "workloop 1" it always shows 0 H/s for the first .5 /s but then begins to ramp up. It never did this before. Any ideas what is going on?

Guys, did someone tried to compile the miner with static linking to the libraries? I'm working on windows with VS 2013 and only with changing the Code Generation to 'Multi-threaded' I receive a lot of errors. I guess i have to recompile all of the dependant libraries but is there an easy way to do this? 3>jsonrpccpp-common.lib(exception.obj) : error LNK2038: mismatch detected for 'RuntimeLibrary': value 'MD_DynamicRelease' doesn't match value 'MT_StaticRelease' in main.obj 3>jsonrpccpp-common.lib(errors.obj) : error LNK2038: mismatch detected for 'RuntimeLibrary': value 'MD_DynamicRelease' doesn't match value 'MT_StaticRelease' in main.obj 3>jsonrpccpp-client.lib(httpclient.obj) : error LNK2038: mismatch detected for 'RuntimeLibrary': value 'MD_DynamicRelease' doesn't match value 'MT_StaticRelease' in main.obj 3>jsonrpccpp-client.lib(client.obj) : error LNK2038: mismatch detected for 'RuntimeLibrary': value 'MD_DynamicRelease' doesn't match value 'MT_StaticRelease' in main.obj 3>jsonrpccpp-client.lib(batchcall.obj) : error LNK2038: mismatch detected for 'RuntimeLibrary': value 'MD_DynamicRelease' doesn't match value 'MT_StaticRelease' in main.obj 3>jsonrpccpp-client.lib(batchresponse.obj) : error LNK2038: mismatch detected for 'RuntimeLibrary': value 'MD_DynamicRelease' doesn't match value 'MT_StaticRelease' in main.obj 3>jsonrpccpp-client.lib(rpcprotocolclient.obj) : error LNK2038: mismatch detected for 'RuntimeLibrary': value 'MD_DynamicRelease' doesn't match value 'MT_StaticRelease' in main.obj 3>ethash-cuda.lib(ethash-cuda_generated_ethash_cuda_miner_kernel.cu.obj) : error LNK2038: mismatch detected for 'RuntimeLibrary': value 'MD_DynamicRelease' doesn't match value 'MT_StaticRelease' in main.obj 3>cryptopp.lib(cryptlib.obj) : error LNK2038: mismatch detected for 'RuntimeLibrary': value 'MD_DynamicRelease' doesn't match value 'MT_StaticRelease' in main.obj 3>cryptopp.lib(sha3.obj) : error LNK2038: mismatch detected for 'RuntimeLibrary': value 'MD_DynamicRelease' doesn't match value 'MT_StaticRelease' in main.obj 3>cryptopp.lib(misc.obj) : error LNK2038: mismatch detected for 'RuntimeLibrary': value 'MD_DynamicRelease' doesn't match value 'MT_StaticRelease' in main.obj 3>cryptopp.lib(queue.obj) : error LNK2038: mismatch detected for 'RuntimeLibrary': value 'MD_DynamicRelease' doesn't match value 'MT_StaticRelease' in main.obj 3>cryptopp.lib(algparam.obj) : error LNK2038: mismatch detected for 'RuntimeLibrary': value 'MD_DynamicRelease' doesn't match value 'MT_StaticRelease' in main.obj 3>cryptopp.lib(filters.obj) : error LNK2038: mismatch detected for 'RuntimeLibrary': value 'MD_DynamicRelease' doesn't match value 'MT_StaticRelease' in main.obj 3>cryptopp.lib(fips140.obj) : error LNK2038: mismatch detected for 'RuntimeLibrary': value 'MD_DynamicRelease' doesn't match value 'MT_StaticRelease' in main.obj 3>cryptopp.lib(mqueue.obj) : error LNK2038: mismatch detected for 'RuntimeLibrary': value 'MD_DynamicRelease' doesn't match value 'MT_StaticRelease' in main.obj 3>libboost_random-vc120-mt-1_55.lib(random_device.obj) : error LNK2038: mismatch detected for 'RuntimeLibrary': value 'MD_DynamicRelease' doesn't match value 'MT_StaticRelease' in main.obj 3>jsoncpp.lib(json_value.obj) : error LNK2038: mismatch detected for 'RuntimeLibrary': value 'MD_DynamicRelease' doesn't match value 'MT_StaticRelease' in main.obj 3>jsoncpp.lib(json_reader.obj) : error LNK2038: mismatch detected for 'RuntimeLibrary': value 'MD_DynamicRelease' doesn't match value 'MT_StaticRelease' in main.obj 3>jsoncpp.lib(json_writer.obj) : error LNK2038: mismatch detected for 'RuntimeLibrary': value 'MD_DynamicRelease' doesn't match value 'MT_StaticRelease' in main.obj 3>libboost_thread-vc120-mt-1_55.lib(thread.obj) : error LNK2038: mismatch detected for 'RuntimeLibrary': value 'MD_DynamicRelease' doesn't match value 'MT_StaticRelease' in main.obj 3>libboost_thread-vc120-mt-1_55.lib(tss_pe.obj) : error LNK2038: mismatch detected for 'RuntimeLibrary': value 'MD_DynamicRelease' doesn't match value 'MT_StaticRelease' in main.obj 3>libboost_system-vc120-mt-1_55.lib(error_code.obj) : error LNK2038: mismatch detected for 'RuntimeLibrary': value 'MD_DynamicRelease' doesn't match value 'MT_StaticRelease' in main.obj 3>LINK : fatal error LNK1104: cannot open file 'libboost_random-vc120-mt-s-1_55.lib'

From which version did you upgrade?
0.9.23 I'll do some testing against the pools you are mentioning. Meanwhile, I suggest you just stick to 0.9.23 if it gives you better results I noticed the longer startup times as well. Not sure where that's coming from, yet.

Checked the running version on a different PC and thought they were the same. The .40 release is the one with the 280x that is giving me the trouble.

Can we have three instead of two proxy?

new miner really does not improve the hashing. I am not programmer so, as a point of view of a miner, previous versions are not slower or faster.
