Re: unstable stratum; try 1.0.7 beta in 107 branch release folder. Re: mine on card 2 --cuda-devices 1, or mine 24/7 using --cuda-gridsize 2048
wierd, cuda devices 1, is still using both cards, so that didnt work also using the --cuda-gridsize 2048 in the file after 'ethminer -g', made the .bat no longer open. so that also didnt work

You can play with the value of grid size until you are satisfied with desktop vs mining speed.

Hello, when I use this command: "-R E:\Crypto\DagETH", the CPU load is 50%. When I remove it, it's 0,5%. The problem is that my drive C is almost full and I want to change the DAG folder in drive E, but this 50% CPU load is a big problem.

FYI on my 980 Ti on Windows with two 144hz monitors, I have to run -U --cl-global-work 512 , anything higher and scrolling isn't smooth on webpages. I get ~19 MH/s with this setting.
|
Legacy signature from 2011: All rates with Phoenix 1.50 / PhatK 5850 - 400 MH/s | 5850 - 355 MH/s | 5830 - 310 MH/s | GTX570 - 115 MH/s | 5770 - 210 MH/s | 5770 - 200 MH/s

I'm assuming since I'm using the 347.52 driver, I need the ethminer compiled using a cuda version that was used at the 347.52 driver time, which I'm thinking is Cuda 6.5. How to compile the ethminer with 6.5 is beyond me, but I'll search forums to see if some kind soul has already done this. The current version I'm using (1.0.7 beta) is from cryptomining blog which i presume was compiled with the latest cuda version

My suggestion is upgrading to driver 352 or better. However, there is a whole ball of wax with Win 10 that I have avoided by sticking to Win 7 x64. One thing, I had a hang-up with my last nVidia driver update (361.xx). I just re-installed and upgraded to v364.72, and a lot of problems with mining software just disappeared. I am definitely not a final authority. A good driver install may be what you need. I don't know what version you need, the Win 10 VooDoo i simply avoided. CUDA ToolKit v7.5 comes with driver 352.xx. Good luck mining... --scryptr

ya, problem is anything other than that driver (347.52), and hash rates plummet on windows 10. id love to upgrade it to latest driver so I can game properly Any potention solution you see Genoil for Windows 10 mining ever?, or should I just run a windows 7 boot

Try moving the two largest DAG files into the new location and check again. ya, problem is anything other than that driver (347.52), and hash rates plummet on windows 10. id love to upgrade it to latest driver so I can game properly Any potention solution you see Genoil for Windows 10 mining ever?, or should I just run a windows 7 boot
No unless MS/NVidia change their driver architecture. I'll upload an older CUDA 6.5 build today.

I have a GTX 760 and interestingly enough the build with CUDA 6.5 and the 347 driver have not helped me at all on Win10. It seems to work for the 9xx series cards, but not the 7xx. Not sure why.

19-20 MH/s-- Depending on clock rates, etc, a GTX 970 will meet or beat an AMD 280/380 card and use less energy. --scryptr

Nice to see this now supports custom DAG file location was bugging me as filling main drive up with storage now can use my main 1TB drive for this. Loving the updates keep em coming. Maybe some more updates maybe to have a bit of a layout or status that it has on cgminer like total submitted shares total hash rejected and no millions of data flying by maybe 2 or 3 line and have option to send to background

What settings can i change to improve that result?
