Does it make sense for a non techy to try bitsend mining?? Do you have to be a little bit better tech educated and to have a powerful pc or is it possible to mine with an average pc and only some basic tech skills??

You can mine BitSend with a less then powerful PC, but you will likely not make much of a profit after electricity costs unless you have a fairly good CPU or a dedicated GPU from recent years. What hardware do you have at your disposal?

Intel 3.50GHz with 8GB ram, 1TB hdd, nVidia GeForce GTX 1060 3GB DDR5, probably im not skilled enough to go in that business of mining lol,but tnx anyway for help.

Is there any benefit for the average user that simply hold BitSend in the wallet?

Any rewards for long-term holders? some sort of stake rewards such as other PoS/PoI coins got Harvest/Rewards/Commissions/Dividends/Fee's just for keeping the coins/tokens inside the wallet.. offline or online wallet

Its not possible, because all bitsend updates didnt affect ur amount of your wallet.
2 options possible, what happened to you: 1. you were compromised, 2. you sold long before and you dont remember!

one try you could do: resync ur wallet -rescan -reindex. if this wont work, so try zapwallet

edit: got slapped right now about zapwallet...

"zapwallet" removes unconfirmed transactions
It does nothing if your transactions don't show up in the first place

Is there a tutorial anywhere or instructions on how to reconstruct my wallet?

you need to change name of this file back to "wallet.dat" and place it into right folder (move wallet.dat file which is there already away, or replace it if no coins on it).

Usually location is on drive  C:\Users\YOU\AppData\Roaming\Bitsend

Ps. You can use "Search" option for keyword Bitsend

I don't get it why bother mining this coin if on latest I7 you will get like 1 coin a day top, with cryptonote you can easily make 1.5$ a day with less HASH/W and buy 8 bitsend coins..  so I guess the hash power is coming from botnets... I did my math on bsd.suprnova.cc with 100kh/s.
