I will say, someone owns a lot of BSD. It is taking a while to cycle through this price level.....
I would like to correct you on that statement. Someone, who does not want the price to go up, owns a large amount of BSD. We can see a record amount of BSD placed on the sell side of Bittrex. I still have no idea why some people do that instead of running a number of masternodes and just selling the generated amount for BTC (if that is what they desire). They will run out eventually, then we move on and up.

Hi, How can I join the Airdrop?
No. You need to be a senior Member or higher to do that. Before you ask why / complain / other: It has already been answered in this thread. I made this change. Thanks anyway.

Do we actually have to use the slack or bitsend forum frequently? I post here, but don't really post anywhere else about crypto, so would rather just keep everything in one place!
I joined anyway, will see how it goes.

No. It runs till sometime in 2019, but you have to be a senior member or higher to join. They will run out eventually, then we move on and up.
One day indeed. The next update for the codebase, if/when ready, should move us up. Do we actually have to use the slack or bitsend forum frequently?
Nobody can or will force you to use either one of those platforms. However, they are the best way of reaching out to the team if needed.

I still have no idea why some people do that instead of running a number of masternodes and just selling the generated amount for BTC (if that is what they desire). Can't see a large sell order on Bittrex right now so I guess it was removed. How large was it? There was a masternode on sell side some days back. If you check on the web you can find a lot of MN Coin comperation pages. There is talk about pivx, crown, mue and a number of smaller ones (tx and dunno what) but BitSend is often missing. That's surprising because if you check the data you figure out that BitSend belongs to the best MN coins. The only weak point that I see is that there is no driving force to get it used out in the world. I don't care about it seen in the crypto world or not at the end what counts is if it becomes used. True there is the Airdrop which is great to get it spread. That alone however will not do. It is a long time Coin and there is time and development but also uncertanity because you can't tell if enough efforts will be done and if it will find adpotions at the end. This said I was in early and own some BitSend MNs now and I am shocked with the high reward they produce. Sure not gonna sell them. The question for me is will it last in the long run. I think it will.

Unfortunately we are new members can't participate in the Airdrop system, and we can't appreciate on Masternode Then start becoming active on Bitcointalk and rank up. There's time to become a senior member before the end of the airdrop. I am just a novice, i love this coin very much, I have been following bitsend news for a year ago, and I regret because I couldn't collect anything Either buy it, or provide a service to the team and they may reward you. Can't see a large sell order on Bittrex right now so I guess it was removed. How large was it? There was a masternode on sell side some days back.
They are spread out now. At a certain time the sell side was ~300k coins, and it jumped to 800+k recently. If you check on the web you can find a lot of MN Coin comperation pages. There is talk about pivx, crown, mue and a number of smaller ones (tx and dunno what) but BitSend is often missing. Premined garbage like DASH is hyped, thus no surprise there.

They didn't hype any specific coin there but just presented the data. Mainly how many coins you need for a MN and what the expected reward will be. Most of that data were outdated anyway. It just puzzles me that they made the effort to collect all the data but missed out on this one.

No. DASH is an instamined scam. Comparing it (or the comparison itself) to LTC/BTC is wrong. It were comperation pages. They didn't hype any specific coin there but just presented the data. Well, there are plenty of even smaller coins that were probably left out. Do you have a link that you could post for the comparison?

I was there the day that DASH (DARK) launched and I do not in any way believe it was an insta-mined scam. It was a very lousy beginning that some ppl got very lucky on, but I never believed it was intended to be done that way. Besides, when BSD is worth $100 a coin, who cares about DASH? Take the lesson learned and the fact that BSD got it right from the start and build on it. Trashing other coins does not help in any way in the long run. BSD takes a lot of the good from DASH and adds its own wrinkles. No reason it cannot grow. Half the success of DASH would be beyond a dream. I think that learning from other coins and moving forward is the very spirit of open-sourced crypto projects. Improve on other's work and we all grow. No reason to not acknowledge the people that made it possible before you!

It's not valuation that makes us care about it, it's just that DASH symbolizes the freedom as it has the broad community of freelancers that have contributed massively to help making it what it is now while BSD is partially sponsored by freeBSD foundation that enforces anti-libertarian rules on everyone who uses their products.

Valuation, like it or not, is how to tell that people desire your product. If BSD finds the right combination it will grow in valuation. Just another reason to love the fact that there are choices out there. I want as many as there can be. The good ones will stay and the crap will go.

No. DASH is an instamined scam. Comparing it (or the comparison itself) to LTC/BTC is wrong. You posted that it is a premined garbage. By declaring it "garbage" you imply to me that it is not working. Something working is not garbage. Pretty much like PT declaring it "snake oil" out of the blue without explaining why after reading the InstantX white paper and not understanding it. Purposefully or not I do not know but I can tell you I read the paper and I understood that it is working. BitSend inherented the "snake oil" features InstantX, Private Send, Masternode from Dash so by declaring DASH garbage you declare Bitsend as garbage too. That's what I hinted on with the LTC/BTC comperation. Tell you what. The features are working. If the BitCoin-Core Devs likes them or not and label it as they please do not change facts. Dash is at least technical not garbage and a well working coin and very dangerous to bitcoin because they do many things right when it comes to mass adaption as target. About instamined scam.. I have my very own unique opinion on that. Not going to address this.

One link I still have: https://www.investitin.com/masternode/I found about 2 or 3 such pages but didn't store the link.

I was there the day that DASH (DARK) launched and I do not in any way believe it was an insta-mined scam.
I fully disagree. There's nothing wrong with objectively laying out what some other coin is, or is not, since someone already mentioned it. Do you not remember that 2 million DASH was mined within a day (or a couple of days?), after which the distribution was decreased drastically? By declaring it "garbage" you imply to me that it is not working. Something working is not garbage.
It's all smoke and mirrors. The definition of garbage does not have to extend itself to whether something works or not. BitSend inherented the "snake oil" features InstantX, Private Send, Masternode from Dash so by declaring DASH garbage you declare Bitsend as garbage too. That's what I hinted on with the LTC/BTC comperation.
The masternode invention is only worthwhile. The other two will (or should be) be removed. Tell you what. The features are working.
Not really. DASH is not anonymous. The advertised features are fundamentally flawed, but this is a discussion for their thread. As said, they will hopefully be removed. If the BitCoin-Core Devs likes them or not and label it as they please do not change facts. when it comes to mass adaption as target.
What a joke. DASH has zero chance of any kind of mass adoption due to several reasons, starting with flawed technology. Visit a conference or two. They will reward you for bringing in investors, aka it is a MLM scam.

Yes, I do remember exactly what went on with Dash that day and still do not believe it is a scam. I agree with you fully that BSD was a much more fair launch and also then a better opportunity for people to buy into it.
The masternode setup and features that they allow for the use of the coin is the genius of this setup. That is certainly no joke or scam. I would be careful with getting into the my coin is bigger than yours arguments as DASH is clearly successful while most others are, at best, marginally successful at this point.
I think all projects have a chance if they are worked on in a serious manner. There is no reason to undermine BSD with attacks on other coins, especially the coin that is responsible for this one being here! The affordability and opportunity now is reason enough to differentiate BSD from DASH.
I would certainly not have bought into BSD if I did not think you guys would not deliver more value to this system. That value is where your success will come from. That value is what I would concentrate on using the forum to tell the world about.
