I got some issue with my wallet need your advice.
Initially, I choose desktop one of the folder as a location for all the backups and to install wallet. But yesterday, when I was opening wallet by mistake, choose the location as a default location and wallet started synchronising from the day one but after all complete, I don't see my coins in my wallet.
Need your advice to recover back my coins. I have an old backup wallet.dat file.
Thanks for your help.
start your wallet by <Start>+<R> then type "bitsend-qt -choosedatadir" and click <OK> (or press <Enter>). You'll be able to choose the previous data dir that contains your wallet and the most recently synchronized copy of the BSD blockchain. Thanks for your information but didn't understand where a need to type "<Start>+<R>"? I didn't understand this part. Please help on this. I usually double click bitsend-qt file to open bitsend wallet. Thank you. <Start>+<R> means to press the "windows"/"orb" key on the keyboard and (while keeping it pressed) press the <R> key (also on the keyboard). That will open a "run program" box where you can type the "bitsend-qt -choosedatadir" text then click <Ok> or press the <Enter> key... An alternative solution would be to right-click on the "bitsend-qt" file and choose "Send to" -> "Desktop (create shortcut)", then right-click on the newly created shortcut, select "Properties" and append " -choosedatadir" at the end the command field. After that you can double-click on the shortcut... I have the strange feeling that I'm teaching somebody to operate a computer... All for the cause. Good job with the help.

So what are the expectations? Will BSD go up in value?
Well, what do you expect? Well I'm pretty new.. I've been mining since june and had all my earnings converted to BTC. Now I'm exploring other coins to HODL. It was a genuine question...... Will BSD go up in value? Im betting yes, BSD will increase in value. Not sure how it could go down in value. Buy a couple MN's worth and get busy. I did an analsis of total supply vs DASH and its price. The current supply ratio is about 2.23 BSD to DASH. The time I did analysis DASH was $432. Considering BSD can be said to have better tech than DASH, the theoretical cap on this coin is $187.5.

Yes of course that BSD have huge potential to going up. I think there is much higher chance to get double price for BSD than BTC after few months.

I noticed some periodicity in raising the price of a coin. There are some manipulations and if you calculate the time frame, you can earn money on this.

As far as I know, you have to post it on the Bitsend forums, not here. You can reach the forums on https://bitsend.info/forums/index.phpHowever I do know which thread you have to post. It is a while ago when I signed up for the campaign.

I don't understand why the airdrop is limited to Sr Members. Why is there a maximum 1000 users? Bitcore (BTX) is going to the moon because anyone can participate. Why is this limited to only certain people? This doesn't make any sense.
I would like to buy BitSend and receive airdrops, but I don't "Qualify". Don't you want the price to go up?

No, this the #1 and only official Bitsend thread + translated threads. I don't understand why the airdrop is limited to Sr Members. Why is there a maximum 1000 users? This is here to prevent abuse of the airdrop. Many would join with sockpuppet accounts and all the slots would fill up very fast..

Of course slots would fill up if there is no purchase required. Why not only give airdrops to coin holders like Bitcore. This still makes no sense to just reward only certain people.
I guess I'll just stick with Bitcore. No reason to buy this coin I guess.

So you only want to support things that give you free handouts?

Yes, I wan't to earn something for supporting a coin. It's not free if you have to purchase coins first. Staking doesn't count. I don't want to have to keep wallets open on my computer constantly. So far, Bitcore has been great.
Only giving away airdrops to certain people who didn't buy coins doesn't seem fair.

They don't complain about fairness when you cash out coins for profit.

It seems very backwards to me that people who didn't buy coins gets airdrops for free.
I'm willing to buy BitSend coins, but I don't qualify to get airdrops. It's upside down.
Does anyone know of any other coins, besides Bitcore where I can earn interest on holding coins in a wallet? Not staking wallets.
