Hey All --

Pardon my ignorance and my not going back through all 50 pages of comments... Shame on me but I'm just now getting to the swapping and hopefully I'm not too late. I've got 500 (five hundred) FOOTY coins in my wallet (it's v2 already), which I've stored there for awhile from an exchange (I believe they were purchased on CoinExchange originally). Given that it's already de-listed (right?), how can I send them to an exchange to send them to v1 of the wallet, to send them back to v2 to send them to the admins? I'm a little lost... if anyone can point me in the right direction (even if it's to a previous post outlining this situation), I'd be really grateful. I realize it's not enough coins for a MasterNode and don't particularly care anyway. But really do appreciate the help!

You're not the only one that's lost...  I updated to the v2 wallet last week, performed the swap, and now have the v2 wallet with my Footy in it as expected. But the posts I'm seeing today are telling us to update the v1 wallet. 

What I haven't figured out is if this pertains to me (being that I'm already on the v2 wallet and blockchain network), or if I need to download the latest v1 wallet update, perform a complete sync (which I've been attempting to do but it's moving slower than molasses), and then do some type of exchange again between the Footy in my v2 wallet and the updated v1 wallet.

Would a dev spell this out clearly for us please? And I apologize if it has been and I've missed the announcement, but I checked and re-checked and didn't see anything clarifying this aspect.  Should I keep going with trying to get the latest (v1.3.0.0-g4e2ccb8) v1 client blockchain synced - or is that only if I still needed to swap coins from an exchange to a wallet and then to the new v2 wallet? If our coins are already in the v2 wallet, are we good to go and can ignore this instruction?

If you've already swapped, you don't have a need for the V1 wallet.

Step 0, install the V1 wallet if you have not
I didn't think this step would be necessary to post, but yes, you need to send coins from an exchange to your V1 address.

If your coins are still on v1 and you have not moved your coins to V2, then you need to update your v1 wallet to the latest version.
If you no longer have coins on v1, then you do not need to worry about upgrading your v1 wallet.

Hi, sorry to inform you that we have had to make a new release  to ensure wallet security while the swap concludes.  You will have to upgrade to V.1.0.0.3 and resync.  The block chain has forked at block 259232.  All wallets will need to upgrade.  Instructions for upgrading are a few posts above.

Ok, I upgraded to v1.0.3 but its not syncing ,its stuck for 1 year 22 weeks behind from 6 hours with only 1 active footy network connection, is their any other way to sync faster as 19th aug is approaching, do we have to add some addnodes on confg file.... or some other way for faster syncing

This is known as a 'false positive' and also appeared for me when I tried to download the wallet on to my PC.
Make sure that you setup an exclusion on your antivirus scanner for the location where you are downloading the wallet to.
This will allow the wallet to download and function without the antivirus scanner blocking the program.

Cryptopia are in the process of handling your coins, refer to a couple of posts above.

Did you try to do anything other than remove your coins off of the site?

I fault the exchanges for all of this trouble. 

If the exchanges allowed your online wallet to have the same functions as the offline wallets - like adding comments;  the coin swap could have been done right from the exchange!
