yes if a person is continuously loosing money continuously  then it must be consider it as sickness, but to me there are so many people who play gambling with a strategy and that is the reason that gambling is a healthy activity for them.

What you just said is truly melancholic for all the people who suffer from gambling addiction. I don't know if people at Gamblersanonymous ask for money to help the person who is addicted (just checked the website and they ask a small fee, which is not big) but they are doing a pretty good job at curing people there.

Probably yes, you would really feel a euphoria when you feel excited and you are at the peak of your playing, and when it's gone, for sure you are already broke which makes a "gambler sick" and not "gambling". Actually gambling addiction is not a big problem like drugs, but if you always give in to that "euphoria" thing, you'll notice that most of your wealth is gone, just like what will happen if you are a drug addict, only that when you are a gambling addict your brain is not destroyed unlike drugs.

that's the problem with addiction i think. quitting should be a continuous process. i know a lady in our neighborhood that went on bankruptcy and then was able to bounce back and then went back to gambling addiction. so i think once you've been addicted to gambling, there will always be times when you will be tempted to go back to what you were doing before. it's that hard really

In a way you are right, since there is not a standardized procedure to get people out of their addictions and there is always the risk of falling again into an addiction.
