Gambling should be considered as a Sickness!!

I don't think gambling should be considered as sickness. When you find out someone is gambling, you can't just say something like "Oh my god, you're gambling? You're so sick. You have to seek professional help." It doesn't work that way. Too much gambling is the one that can be considered as sickness. Like when you get that urge to gamble every minute and you can't fight it.

I agree and first of all the people who are gambling made there own choice and they wanted to gamble so if they want to spend there money that way you cannot blame gambling for it.
Gambling is not a sickness because if people want to stop they can do it.

Gambling is not a sickness because we are enjoying it but if we go beyond the normal way to do it then we will experience the big problem that other gamblers had experience, we cannot just gamble and use our money on bets base on our luck because the result will surely hurt us.

Well gambling will always hurts you and make you loose pretty a lot! So if you gambles you should expect this things thou gambling will base most in your luck then if you have luck then you can earn on that day but in the other day if your luck is gone then you are keep on loosing.

It is not considered a sickness literally , it is just called sickness when a person gets addicted to gamnling it is not the same as sickness that we actually know because it is not physically but mentally .

That is correct mate. As long as you are just gambling for fun, then there is really no problem at all. The bad thing is that when you start considering gambling as your source of income, then that is the time that you will encounter much of life disappointment because you will most likely to lose than you win. Unless you are lucky enough and are a professional gambler.

exactly. gambling can bring out the greediness in people but gambling itself is not at fault here because mostly people who gamble are adults. and as adults we should already have that sense of self control and responsibility to know if we are gambling excessively already. a lot of people lot their minds already with addiction, so we should try to limit ourselves before it gets to that point where it'll be hard for us to stop

He is asking if Gambling can be considered a sickness, there is no relation if it can be a sickness and then banning it later. Also a real sickness cannot be banned as it can spread on its own. Having an addictive thing also has benefits for the government, like in my area there is an extra tax for alcohol and cigarettes. It does not prevent people from drinking and smoking because it is something there body is looking for.
