Its not actually a sickness because gambling is just a form of a game or entertainment but id you already put too much time and money on it then its already considered as a sickness , gambling addiction is the thing which is a sickness and its hard to overcome it especially when you already got hooked into it.

Gambling is already a part of life. Everytime you make actions you are gambling what would be the outcome. Gambling is risk. Wha is no normal is the form of gambling that you choose to make inyour money. Gambling addiction is what can be considered as an illness.
Once you become addicted in gambling that's the time I can say that it can be an illness. And the greediness to gain money is also including to became the illness and addiction in gambling. But once you become rich in gambling I guess you will never stop doing this until the money that you became rich will also make you poor at the end. |

yes i also don't like gambling,but i have little gambling habit and some time i try to bet on soccer or cricket,but i don't like casinos or poker sites.
Well, that means you consider gambling not a sickness, I can see that you are into sports betting and I think you are a sports aficionado. But anyway, I am sure that gambling is not a sickness since a gambler could get away from it without a pain. Most gamblers know that, only that they are not yet ready to get out. Whatever type of gambling you are in but you will not behave the way you should be behaving then probably you will end up blaming gambling for your mistakes. The mere fact that gambling is very entertaining and that's what we are looking for, we will easily be affected and our emotion will let us play what we got which is supposedly not to be done. gambling is a sickness when you are out of control start to gamble everything like a mad and really not care about anything inlclude something important like your family, wife and child's life. it's not entertaining anymore but yeah a sickness. That's right, self-control is the most important thing if you has been gamble. when gambling is just an entertain which chance to win is not almost reach 50% i think, but if take it seriously, yes it could be a sickness which need a long time to kill the habbit of gamble activity. my experience with people who addicted to gamble is people who lazy to work just want instant money without considering whatever money comes or whatever the risk cost. My suggestion is don't too often gambling, become an addict is too hard to stop. an ounce of prevention is worth than a pound of cure. |

Prevention is better than cure, we cannot afford to be addicted with gambling.

i am not agree with this and i think gambling is not a sickness maybe its just a bad behavior in many people because they can not stop when they are win and they just continue to play the gambling. finally, if they still consist with gambling, they can risk their own life and even their family and get loss everything they have.
I think gambling is just a business and its not a sickness and i think addiction is the one of the sickness in gambling if you are addicted in gambling it is not easy to treat your self if you have no willingness to treat your self from being addiction that can be cause of loses a large money in gambling..
