I agree, everyone has a different view on gambling, some people think that it is a sickness, but some people think it's more just a hobby, but they do not realize that they are already addicted. I myself feel gambling is not a sickness but a hobby

Usually people got addicted it since when people win big the gamble, they fell awesome ! And if fell loss, they can be mad as they will do anything for keep gamble to chasing their loss.
I called it as sickness because as people already know that gamble always lose but why people still want to bet. And when they will do anything for keep gamble and if they win again, they will experience the temporary joy that will cause sickness into gamble

Yes actually BTC to most of us is known because for gambling or some betting. And calling gambling sickness is itself sickness, because then people will start calling smoking as sickness then other hobbies, we need to grow up.

If gamble is a disease, then everyone has a disease. In general, we gamble everyday from our daily choices not only with money involved.
Anyways, you can gamble with moderation. It is just self-discipline but if you're addicted to gambling, only then it becomes a problem.

Sickness is something that destroys you. Smoking destroys your health. Gambling destroys your finances and sometimes, chronic gamblers, destroys relationships. If you are denying this, you are maybe an addict justifying your addiction.

As long as you are not hurt or you don't hurt someone, it won't be called a sickness... But if you keep on gambling even when you know that you are already using the budget for other things, I think it is a sickness already...Better bet in moderation...

So you are trying to promote yourself as a tipster? But tipster will also fail too, I think there are some tipster out there that experience in this kind of betting but still he will make a loss too. Doesnt mean if you are tipster you will sure end up in a good profit though

People are not only addicted in gambling while wasting their money, but anything in which a person waste something continuously is addiction, they maybe his wealth, health time property or any other thing. So anything in which we waste is addiction and sickness.

Guys that blame the game and not the player are the actual sick people. You can't blame gambling being the cause of your problems, it's your lack of self control that allows you being a gambling addict. The problem some people encounter is they can't controll themself. Which leads them to a lot of losses.
MOst of the time it is the person who is to blame, but sometime rigged games are the problem.

I dont get what you mean, how could you say betting on sports is not gambling? Every bet that risk your money is gambling whether you know it or not IMO.
And as what I said few times already, gambling is not sickness. When people putting all his money on gambling and going to debts means that the "sickness" is the people not the game.

It becomes a sickness if gambling becomes more important than the people around you or your work. If you gamble all day and lose time for your children then it is a sickness. If you burn away your finances because of gambling then it is sickness. You are lucky you did not suffer this yet. But if you continue your path and get addicted, you'll be sorry.

true...if you are gambling just because of what you may win and investing your money to it then you are really sick..IMO, if gambling could affect your life and could ruin your family life, then it is a sickness..

Correct, it just ruins everyone's life not because it's a sickness, but we get sick on our own decisions because we decide to gamble based on either recovering what we lose or trying to make even more of what we have already made...
Gambling is sickness when you lose control on yourself, unless it's a fun if you do it as fun...
