Gambling is risky game of money from which most people lose and just a few wins. Gambling too is addictive and fun especially when you're winning and that's why most people can't get away from gambling once they get in it.
In gambling you only win from the start then you lose whenever you win a certain amount.

In my opinion, gambling is more than an addiction than an sickness. Sick means ill and you could die while you are sick than addiction is just a habit that you can't stop/ addicted to something that you can't stop doing. Like smoking its not a sickness its a addiction. Addiction is when you voluntary do it because you like it or you can stop doing it. You can call sickness when the side effect of addiction kicks in.

Anyone can manage themselves however some people dont want to stop gambling for various reason. For me , I gamble for fun so I could say that I am addicted as well in a way that I can still control myself . I only use funds that I dont really need and the amount for that is very low and even when I win it will be a very small amount

It is considered as drug because of the addiction that it can give to the gamblers but in reality it is really hard to depend on this activity. Because in the end, that will just into frustration. There might be people that are having good fate in gambling but most of us are sick to it that it is actually giving us an headache.

Gambling is not really the same as drug. You could die if you are addicted to drug and you need to keep on taking it otherwise it will have an effect on your body. It is different with gambling, you wont really die if you dont gamble and in fact you will live. It is people that make it looks like they cant stand without gambling

What he is referring too is Gambling is like a like a drug a really addicting one because it can make you feel on the hook when you are betting it gives you some sort of trance every time you win or just every time you bet. Its not about dying when you use of gambling but it is about the state you are in and if you will ever come out with that addiction.

LOL! I've been always reading this guys comment to others post and it is always against or different or very far from what they are pointing too. It is clear that I'm saying that drug is considered the same as gambling because of the effect that it can give to those gamblers that can make them addicted. That's what I'm pointing out and I know that drug different from gambling.

Also, I don't think people who gambles are bad when it is just an entertainment and it will not do harm unto us if we will play it with discipline. It's very important we should understand gambling first before entering to it.

The problem is it that it is hard for a addict to figure out whether he is an addict and that is the main problem and only when he looses everything he does rethink his strategy and might come back again to win back what he has lost and keep on falling into the trap. Well that i think is a good way to control your addiction. Small amoubt betting definitelh lowers the risknof you getting into trouble with your addiction but i think you should still be careful dude as there's a chace small bets won't enough and you might find it a bit boring. Just kniw your limits even if you like gambling that much

For me, I think gambling cannot be considered as a sickness because gambling isn't a disease. It's up on a person if she/he will stop or take a rest when playing gambling. He/she must focus on his/her time when playing gambling. He must know when to stop so that he will not be addicted on playing gambling and should not be considered as a sickness.

It is a disease because it will ruin your health as well your wealth. What is the definition of disease your dictionary. Even you would have benefited from gambling, I just worry it will not remain same for the all the times of future. This disease will start showing its consequences at any time.

It's up on a person if she/he will stop or take a rest when playing gambling. He/she must focus on his/her time when playing gambling. He must know when to stop so that he will not be addicted on playing gambling and should not be considered as a sickness.

You are just talking about self control of one gambler. But gambling will make you aggressive and make your self control to fade away in very few beginning days of gambling itself. Its sickness when u lost control. Its safety when u r in control. Its all up to u. If u lose control eating sickness too. Everything related to human's control. Gambling is not different.

I rather think it's medicine to those that are sick financially and those who wants to grow their investment. It's sad to have people ridicule gambling this way meanwhile it's helped a lot out of poverty and paid taxes to develop the country's the critics are living in.

Thinking that it's a medicine to those people who are sick financially is crazy you know. It's not even an investment, I don't know why people are keep on comparing and treating gambling as an investment. Not just because you did have a capital before gambling, it's being considered as investment, but it's a no.

I don't know what these people are taking it something that we really need to think that gambling specifically addiction is a serious and severe sickness that we need to cure. It's not going to be a medicine and we need to remember that. Though it may be a good way to solve your financial problem but that is not guaranteed and it can make your problems to dig deeper.

Only a fool would act like that when they gamble. People only need to have a common sense to differ which one is right and which is wrong. That's true, if we really what are our limitations in gambling then I think it is fine for us to play gambling as long as we know how to handle our money/financial and do not use all your money especially when that money is for your family and if you are already a responsible parent.
