What's the point between WAVES and WCT? I wanted to join the WAVES movement but I am now a bit sceptical if it's not too late. Will WAVES become WCT?

The Waves Community Token (WCT) is intended to provide a tool for community assessment of crowdfunding campaigns launched on the Waves platform and incentivize long-term holding by providing an additional income stream for WAVES token holders in the form of regular asset distributions. WCT will be a virtual community organization. It will be launched in several stages based on the technical maturity of the Waves platform. Projects launching tokens on the Waves platform can request different services, exchanging these for a certain share of their overall token issue, which will be distributed to WCT asset holders as rewards. Services include - Business side verification - Proof of Concept verification - Token specs advice - Help with testing - Help with product and services integration - An introduction to community More info - https://blog.wavesplatform.com/waves-community-tokens-e9e8b5db0b49#.b2fqmnb3a

prompting many trading sites add waves to push the price and attract a lot of new people to know the waves, I saw waves are on the waiting list are also on trading sites MERCATOX Vote Please https://mercatox.com/coins/listGood to see waves in another exchange's voting list. even mercatox is a small exchange but it doesn't a problem. even it is good to have more exchanges. Waves have a big community getting 200 votes should not be hard. I do not see anything good. Such a process would be normal for coins that do not have funding, but not to coins with a budget of more than $ 15 million. Should be larger exchanges.

I have funny with this situation with the WAVES, but seeing what is going on, many of my friends who bought WAVES for 30-35k, ready now for 25-28k sell or buy more, so it can be assumed that yobit wants to sell their tokens and does not accept the new Well that withdrawal works. Yobit always playing with us. Include wallets shut off. It is better not to keep the coin there.

I use Yobit only to trade shitcoins as they list just every shitcoin existing. OK, there are some legit ones listed too but better to trade them on more reliable exchanges than Yobit.

Not sure why people would dump as low as 50k sats each. Since there are only 10 million WCT's, they will eventually be worth more than 10x the price of Waves if the only way to get the above services is to use WCTs.

Listing a strong coin on a small exchange gives probably the wrong message to potential investors. Could be a first indication of a dying coin for the undecided ones. you are right. but the fact is the waves listed in mercatox by the exchange staff . it is not listed their by waves team or staff . waves is already listed in big exchange, I don't think they need to worry about exchanges..
Ok, so here the exchange staff decided to list the coin, right? It was not the decision of the devs.

I do not think that this asset will be worth so much. If it is as you say, WCT market capitalization will be same as Waves. Then what is meaning of the initial distribution of waves? What for it had to pay if same asset at cost you can get over bought waves for two week period.

Really if you want to encourage people 'long-term holding' then deliver on what was said in development. Using a token that is handed out for free for just holding waves doesnt make too much sense. If it's for further develop of the platform then so be it ...

That's a lot of Waves tokens to deposit into a new account on an new exchange for the first time. I always test things out with a minimal amount first to be sure everything is working before making a large deposit. Hope it gets resolved for you. Good luck.

Normally I would but given the pedigree of Tidex I didn't feel the need, the staff are sorting it out so no big deal, lesson learned, always do a test run.

Just checked out Tidex, it's a shame that there's little to no trading activity going on there.

It is like the premium charge or service tax on top of its product if i am not wrong.

https://twitter.com/sasha35625/status/829359379854061570This is one example why WCT will be used for (first practical use). If I understand correctly, they will distribute BTC they got from Byteball. The amount of BTC you´ll get depends on number of WCT you got in first distribution.

Is there any word on 2fa implementation for the chrome lite wallet? I like the idea of having them in their for tokens and things but it just feels so insecure not having 2fa, Its like they are just sitting waiting for some random keylogger to take them away. Or does anyone have any other ideas? dont want to have them just sitting on an exchange just so i can have 2fa.

Good point. There´s actually no "safe" place to store our tokens.
