I think Waves team needs to increase the transaction fee, the current price for me is too low when you compare it to some project and want to encourage people to host their nodes:

Current price: 0.001waves=25.5sat  increasing it to 0.01waves=255sat would be better and even still cheaper than most platform

Yes, this must be done, even though price of Waves in near future will grow at two to three times. But it is also necessary to increase the number of transactions, in what will help launch of decentralized exchange.

Since Waves can be direct threat to poloniex becoming giant platform a mixture of exchange plus crowdfunding platform we don't have any chance to see it being traded there. We have to choose other alternative exchanges but not fully brand new exchanges as they are destroying coins by not providing enough volumes.

It appears that you know more about Waves than the majority in this thread. Can you enlighten us why Waves is not listed in Poloniex?

True, the transaction fee is currently very low at this moment but when Waves increases in price, it will be well worth it to host nodes.  The Waves project is currently undervalued and there is no doubt it will increase in the future.

ahh, interesting...just this morning the WBTC units came into the WAVEs wallet..  so now these assets I presume we trade them on upcoming DEX or Tidex.  that's a pretty nice and easy way of Incentivising(?) your holders.  gotta say, i'm seeing WAVEs involved in these other neat projects is pretty cool.  glad i held on a bit. 

now i'd like to understand more about what running a "node" entails.
