More likely that the exchange rate of Waves and Wbct will drop even more because of the fact that the team isn't able to choose priorities. But instead thee are engaged in different nonsense, instead of platform improvement .

More directions are not a bad thing, just the "team" may be too small / the time not enough for all to be taken care.
The price rises and falls, it's normal. I've seen Monero at 2$, then at 0.5$ and now it's some 12$. So if the things are done right, it doesn't matter how much WAVES will fall, it will come back.
I didn't lose confidence in WAVES (yet).

Chronobank partners with WAVES to create ChronoWAVES wallet

Perhaps partnership of Chronobank with the Waves platform will give though a small kick at the price of waves. Everything is somehow gloomy recently. To sell waves not a reason at such low price.

Is Chronobank so big and reputable it could matter / make a change?
I've seen a lot of advertising (too much for my liking) and not much else. I don't know it it will affect the price at all, I'm not very confident...
How many WBTC did you get?

I have 185 WCT and got 0.00000053 wbtc tokens.
Had my WCT on Tidex for two days.. So I missed the boat?

Might have been the trade of the year of 2016. But we have to take a forecast into our future, not looking back all to often.
What I am missing the most are two things:
1) Touzibi as a Fiat gateway isn't accessible for my country. There is a dutch one but without any volume.
2) WAVES should get onto the same trade site than Monero for more liquidity.

You can make your own coins/token and distribute them, then later pay dividends to them if you wish.

For each created coins/token must be an idea, a service. And not just a dummy. Create a token for the sake of curiosity leads nowhere.  For creating token the waves platform is not needed, it's easier to create a normal "fork" in the walletbuilder. Wink

As far as I know, the main priority of the Tidex Exchange is public testing. After all, I think such exchange like a Tidex will constantly evolve. Why? Each side is interested in this Smiley

Not sure if the wBTC distribution was based on how many Waves one owns or WCTs one owns.  Either way, unless you had a bunch of either, the portion received was very minimal.  There was only a total of 35BTC to be divided across the board.

So is Tidex now officially the WAVES DEX? Looks like it.... And it is a fully decentralized exchange?

Id say The wbtc is based on the amount of WCT you hold because the poster has more WCT than i hold but less Wbtc. I assume the reason for this is becasue he stuck his WCT onto an exchange and missed out on his share. Either that or hes since removed his waves and thats why he got such a low amount of Wbtc. Bottom line is get your coins out of exchanges though, Its never a good place to have them unless you are wanting shot of them very soon.

I think Tidex will be "Matcher" for DEX. Node (middleman) to match the orders on decentralized exchange.

Anyone here try to transfer their wBTC to a BTC address?  Was the transaction successful?  I just noticed that Tidex has now added wBTC market to their exchange, so I am hesitant to try to transfer directly to a Bitcoin address.

Bitcoin exchange to Bitcoins. This exchange does not have anywhere else. I also wonder whether it is possible to send WBTC to BTCaddress?
Someone tried?

Will it work transferring WBTC to BTC address? WBTC is a Waves asset. Unless there is an exchange that converts your WBTC to BTC like Shapeshift.

from my understanding, you will be able to swap WBTC for BTC when dex goes live next week.  so prob not smart to send right now unless another waves account.

i think wBtc only token asset waves not bitcoin balance
so if you want sending to bitcoin addres the first must exchange to bitcoin, but waves system not yet open decentralize exchange service
this plan Q1 in 2017 can open decentralize exchange service
