Today, I noticed that Ethereum has been implemented into the Waves client. After I send my first Eths to my Waves wallet (which worked very well) I am wondering what will happen if I send Ethereum tokens (ERC20) to the Ethereum address displayed in my Waves wallet? Are they gone or do I get Wave-based tokens (assets) for them?
If you send ETH to the lite client, they will be converted to WAVES ETH. I didn't know, that besidse the WAVES address there also exists an ETH address. Where is it shown? Probably I can't see it, as I haven't got ETH. It is possible for this to use some kind of gateway or third-party service like BlockSwap. But it is not exactly.

Any news on claiming BCC/BCH from BTC in the Waves Lite Client?
No official news yet. We know it's something that they are working on/thinking about. I assume we'll get some kind of official announcement about it, but that's not guaranteed. This is going to be something were waiting, its a raise against time, its almost august 1 already. If they can fix it before the time, I've my btc to my wallet just to get BCC but if not I'd forget about it. Synchronizing BTC wallets take time, which one can you recommend that also has the feature for us to get acquire BCH?

I think I will withdraw my btc to an exchange or my own wallet until the whole fork thing is sorted.

Wow. That's a cool milestone. And a neat way to track it. I have a feeling that even though it sounds pretty momentous right now, someday that number will seem rather small compared with what is yet to come.

A lot of ICO are now starting on waves instead of ethereum, it will support the price but there is still a long way to go to catch up to ethereum in terms of market cap.

Reading about Eth hacks in the media is creating a negative perception of the Eth platform. Even if the hacks have nothing to do with Eth itself it is the perception that counts. On the other hand many of the tokens created on Waves are fake scams which in turn creates a negative perception of Waves. At least the Waves verification process is there and the devs have removed the names of non verified tokens it seems. You will have to search by name to find a non-verified token now and also know its address. If a dev launches on Waves and do not verify the token it is an instant red flag.

Well, in current I know the some ICOs project starting have 2 platform blockchain are Waves and Ethereum, example: MobileGo, Aventus are project do that. I believe the future Waves platform pass Ethereum smart contract soon

(smart contracts) i think when waves will implement smart contracts we will see much more valuable projects comming to waves. but i like the direction waves is going, sasha knows what he is doing.

To get a better insight, what's going on on the WavesPlatform, we have created a new statistics page: https://wavesmine.com/statistics. As the WavesPlatform is about creating assets and decentralized exchange, we are showing the number of created assets and dex trades/dex $ volume. It will be interesting to see, how the dex numbers will develop, when the new dex version goes live.

See in the chart that the dex volume is rising and settled above $1 million. And this is just the beginning. More and more ICO's shall use the wavesplatform and also bring new users to the platform which shall increase the transaction volume.

Markets are very fragile these days due to well known factors. This should be bottom for Waves on what I agree completely. If somehow it slips under 100k then buy without staying to think a lot. Waves is to stay over 100k and to keep moving upwards.
