My only advice is avoid investing on shitcoins. You know what I mean. Always search and study the coin before you put bet on that particular coin. For long term investing, studying and searching about the coin is the very most important thing to avoid ending up a bagholder.
When scalping or day trading, always put a stop loss for 5-10% loss.

   I agree with your comment, investment strategies are individual choice. I am buying and now I earn bitcoins, I plan to hold them like I plan to hold some
alt-coins. That is my investment strategy for now, I plant to start with betting on sports with bitcoin and I hope that I can make some profit with that.
   I agree with your last sentence too, who wish to obtain massive profits should know the dangerous of that, I know I am risking with investing in some
alt-coins but I am willing to take that risk cause prize can be more then good in the end.
   My strategy is long term, I think there are people who save bitcoins more then 5 years and they have massive profits on that, what I hope is that in 5 or
more years from now I can have very good profit, I believe in that and I advise others here and around me to do the same like I do, we need to try if we wish
