Fernando Alonso team radio:"It's a shame , we could have won this race"
Best part of the race yesterday. It was a clear message to Honda that Mclaren drivers and fans have had enough of the GP2 engine. Time for an upgrade Honda.
Well at least he got 2 points, it will not be a 0 anymore for the end of the season. Today it was one of the most entertaining races, a really chaotic race, very different from the monotonous other races like the Monaco one. I like this kind of races where it's unpredictable what will happen. Also I think Alonso was being a little bit sarcastic with that comment. Of course it was. It's him giving a little jab on Honda for not giving them a good engine this season. And this is the final year of his contract with McClaren, so it's safe to assume that he will be leaving and be with another team next year. Maybe he'll be back with Ferrari, who knows. One thing's for sure tho, he expected to fight for a driver's championship when he signed on with McClaren... Nope!

We , all the fans of Mclaren did think so when McLaren rejoined Honda as distant memories of the 1989 year came back to us and we thought that we would dominate again like that year where all races were won by a single team , McLaren. Apparently Honda this time did screw up big time and the worst thing is they are not recovering at all, their engine it is still a failure after three years they are back in F1. Alonso is right to leave the team based on such weak performance from McLaren-Honda.

I love Valentino Rossi this season. He really showed very high fighting power, he showed that he was a true champion. Although already aging but he is still a strong competitor for young riders like Vinales and Marquez. Gap points also showed how excited moto gp this season. Vinales changed teams to yamaha and immediately showed his skills.

Standings Drivers after 8 races:
Vettel 153 gap Hamilton 139 -14 Bottas 111 -42 Ricciardo 92 -61 Raikkonen 73 -80 Verstappen 45 -108 Perez 44 -109 Ocon 35 -118 Sainz 29 -124 Massa 20 -133
Standings Teams after 8 races:

Now it is a real battle between Vettel and Hamilton both on the track and outside! For the "teams" World Championship, Mercedes is favored because Raikkonen in every GP has problems with his car

This season was supposed to be a breakthrough year for the McClaren-Honda partnership, propping them up to compete and dominate the second tier teams. Sadly they're back to square one.

This weekend the Motogp runs to Sachsenring in Germany. On this track the big favorite is surely Marc Marquez who has always won since 2010.
Daniel Pedrosa can also fight for the podium. I think Dovizioso will lose the top of the World Championships.
After this race there will be a pause of about 1 month! the next race will be August 8

But V. Rossi, Vinales and Marquez are much stronger riders than him. He is first in the standings because he has achieved the maximum result until now, while Marquez, Vinales (they both fell twice) and V. Rossi (he fell on the last lap when he was struggling for victory) lost so many points. He can get on the podium in this championship but will hardly win it

Here are the starting positions of the Sachsenring Gp:
1. Marquez 2. Petrucci 3. Pedrosa 4. Crutchlow 5. Folger 6. Lorenzo 7. P. Espargaro 8. A. Espargaro 9. Rossi 10. Dovizioso 11. Vinales ... 19. Zarco.
Marquez is the big favorite and after this race he can go first in the championship standings. If it rains, Petrucci and Crutchlow can climb the podium

Standing MotoGP after 9 of 18 races:
1)Marquez 129 gap 2)Vinales 124 -5 3)Dovizioso 123 -6 4)Rossi 119 -10 5)Pedrosa 103 -26 6)Zarco 84 -45 7)Folger 71 -58 8 )Petrucci 66 -63 9)Lorenzo 65 -64 10)Crutchlow 64 -65
We arrived mid-season in Motogp. The next gp will be in 1 month. Is the most balanced world championship ever, with 4 riders in only 10 points (5 in 26 points). The most disappointing riders was definitely Lorenzo.

I think Valentino Rossi is going to show his experience in the remaining races and win the tenth world championship. He doesn't want to retire without getting the nice round 10 number, that is a dream for any racer and he doesn't have many years left to try.

I didn't like that much the last race at Sachsenring in Germany in MotoGP this last Sunday. In this track it has been a lot of years that Marquez wins consecutively, it is a Honda friendly track, Yamaha with Rossi couldn't do much, also Maverick Vinales did not do a great race. Very few overtaking compared to other MotoGp races. The only guy who tried to challenge the Honda was Folger but his inexperience costs him the win of this races as he did many consecutive errors at turn 1 of this track. The only good thing is that 4 racers are within just 11 points difference from each other fighting for the championship, making MotoGp interesting to watch during the remaining races.

Looks like this will be a feisty race between Vettel and Hamilton after what happened between the two. I think this is just the beginning, the British Grand Prix is where the real action will be since Vettel knows Hamilton wants to win his home race at all costs. Good luck with your bets! Looks like this will be a feisty race between Vettel and Hamilton after what happened between the two. I think this is just the beginning, the British Grand Prix is where the real action will be since Vettel knows Hamilton wants to win his home race at all costs. Good luck with your bets! Here's the time table for this weekend's race. The Austrian GP 2017All times are local (Austria is GMT +2) Thursday July 615:00: FIA press conference Friday July 710:00 – 11:30: First free practice 14:00 – 15:30: Second free practice 16:00: FIA press conference Saturday July 811:00 – 12:00: Third free practice 14:00 – 15:00: Qualifying 15:00: FIA post-qualifying press conference Sunday July 914:00 – 16:00: Austrian GP 16:00: FIA post-race press conference 2017 Austrian Grand Prix | F1 Fast Factshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U8MZqWCK6DAI see the mercedes favorites on this "stop & go" circuit. The Mercedes won the last 3 editions while Vettel never came on the podium on this track. Hamilton can then retrieve points for the world championship

Standing MotoGP after 8 races:
1) Dovizioso 115 gap 2) Vinales 111 -4 3) Rossi 108 -7 4) Marquez 104 -11
5) Pedrosa 87 -28 6) Zarco 77 -38 7) Petrucci 62 -53 8 ) Lorenzo 60 -55 9)Crutchlow 58 -57 10)Folger 51 -64
4 riders in only 11 points, already 5 different winners, 10 riders each race can go up the podium. Great balance and show this year in MotoGP! Fantastic Valentino Rossi (38 years old) who returns to victory and can try to win his tenth world championship.
I think Valentino Rossi is going to show his experience in the remaining races and win the tenth world championship. He doesn't want to retire without getting the nice round 10 number, that is a dream for any racer and he doesn't have many years left to try. Thats a big dream and Rossi needs to work very hard to get the dream but I dont think that he does not want to retire till he win his 10th world championship. This season is much more harder than previous seasons because he needs to compete with some others Riders, unlike previous seasons where there are only 2-3 riders who were competing for the championship title.

Who will win the world championship in MotoGp? Standings after 9 of 18 races: 1)Marquez 129 gap 2)Vinales 124 -5 3)Dovizioso 123 -6 4)Rossi 119 -10 5)Pedrosa 103 -26 Marquez at quote@2.10Vinales at quote@3.25Rossi at quote@5.00Dovizioso at quote@7.50Pedrosa at quote@20.00For me the fight is between Marquez, Vinales and Rossi. With this great balance for me the favorite is V. Rossi who has great experience and wants to win his tenth world championship.

Alonso continues his descent into frustration and madness because of the underperforming car. The team and the driver are really upset at each other. The driver because he is always complaining (with a valid reason) and the team because he is too outspoken about the car being trash.
It's unfortunate and I hope next year he can get a better car and fight for the tournament.
