the race at Motogp Austria again presented an interesting race on the last lap lap, and again also repeated the drama like last year, and again, Marquez again lost to Dovi.

The last turn overtakes by Dovi was crazy. That's what should happen in a race, not running away from your competitors. Honda and Ducati look very strong which is unfortunate for Quartararo which should have the opportunity to fight for the podium if he had a better bike. Yamaha need to fix their machine asap before their competitor kick their ass again next year.

For the Formula 1 fans, Red Bull announced that Pierre Gasly is going to be replaced by Albon in the Belgian Grand Prix. The bad performance of Gasly apparently have a negative impact for him.

I had faith in him but he performs so badly. Now, I wonder what would be the case with the points that those drivers won during the half of the championship. Would Gasly now own the points that Albon won and vice versa? And what is going to happen in the constructors league table?

Thank you for the information, but is it just a rumor, or it has been officially confirmed by Aston Martin Red Bull Racing? Do you have a link for this news? The belgian Grand Prix is scheduled for the first of september afaik so it's maybe just some fake rumors to destabilize the opponents.

Well, it had to happen sooner or later. Personally, I expected that Red Bull will give second chance for Kvyat, but they selected Albon. He is very talented driver, but it's just first season and I doubt that he will perform significantly better than Gasly. BTW, Red Bull boss Helmut Marko said this just few weeks ago: This year we won't change, we will end the season as we currently are. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Thank you for the information, but is it just a rumor, or it has been officially confirmed by Aston Martin Red Bull Racing? There are rumors and so far this is 50-50 to be true. Considering that I read most of infos on crash.net and there is also headline that says the same that Albon is replacing Gasly. How we all need to wait and see this when comes Fridays first practice to see if this is really true or just another media speculation.

Yeah, that's what I believe too. Which is why Moto2 is interesting to watch because most of the time it's only about rider skill and not engine differences. I wonder if MotoGP will be like that in the near future. It's really not fun to watch only one or two riders competing for the podium while the rest of them which can actually perform really good if they have a better bike, like Crutchlow, Nakagami, Quartararo and the rest is struggling because their bike is not great.

It's official: https://www.formula1.com/en/latest/article.albon-to-replace-gasly-at-red-bull-from-belgium.5f9BkwxuJ5TF86EPKqqwJa.htmlRed bulls decision to change thier drivers is bizzare, and it would have even made sense if their replacement had decent experience, but here they have a rookie driver with very little experience. Words mean nothing to them, and they’ll often change their stances according to their needs so that’s not surprising. I don’t think this change will help them this season, but it’ll be interesting if this change helps them in the long run. Unfortunate decision for Gasly, I think he has a lot of talent but he had bad luck that Verstappen performed incredibly and he couldn't compete.

I think you're right, it's not a simple rumor anymore, it's even written on the wikipedia page of Pierre Gasly that he doesn't belong anymore to the Red Bull Racing team but to the Scuderia Toro Rosso. It's a pity for french supporters that will go to Liège in september for the Belgian Grand Prix.

In MotoGP the ECU uniformity is applied, but that does not seem to provide a balanced effect for the drivers, so the rivalry has not been seen in MotoGP.

Well, in motosports, the competition is not only between riders but also between team/constructors. A team needs to prepare a good bike for the riders so they can win a race and at the same time contribute to the constructors' competition. If Marquez or anybody else wins a race or championship, then the answer would be because of the rider and the bike quality. It doesn't make sense to assume that it's only because of the bike. Even if that's true, the settings of that bike or the quality of that bike come from their own research, trial and error, and so on.
Just to let you know is that each rider has a different engineering team. The two drivers for example that are in the same team, actually is like they are not in the same team. So, of course it is both the drivers and the bike but a huge portion of the success comes from the bike and the engineers that work on that bike.
