We are all working hard behind the scenes (we exchange thoughts almost daily and do our best to push the development forward).

Honestly, the reason why more and more people decide to continue working silently is because of the massive amount of distractions in our private message inboxes. I have personally heard from people that the only reason why they left the project is that they started feeling uncomfortable. So do I, if I am honest.

With all due respect, I am working my buttocks off for about a year now, day by day! I have so many open TODOs (that I set myself since I have no contract with anyone) and I already promised to do my best to meet them by the end of the month. Others are working hard as well. We have no time to explain ourselves (and justify anything) in private messages over and over again.

I'm sorry to say it but I will stop reading any private messages as of now! I am sure anything can be discussed in public.

Eventually that's a sideeffect of having BTT as our "main-base". In this forum, and especially in the altcoin-section, the noise-ratio is very high.

To just avoid BTT for a while and the PMs and everything and comeback as soon as you are pleased with everything wouldnt be the worst decision eventually.

We will try our best to keep trolls and everything under control for so long.  Wink

EK your hard work is appreciated.
Thanks for all the effort by you and all the others who are working in the background!
I really think what is being achieved here as a project is very impressive and unique in the cryptosphere of today.
I must admit that I was pretty skeptical in the beginning and found out I was very wrong in my skepticism. I guess that is also why I invested less than I should have...  Undecided

same with me.

I was skeptical and asked for refund.

I dropped more after i get refund.  the guys are most honest i ever seen in crypto.

I saw many projects with illusional idea and story-telling devs.  actually 99% of them.

the crypto world is becoming disgusting at all.

but XEL seems a game changer

I also think this project is less than 1 year old

I remember EK posted a great template of the Elastic website a short time ago.

It was orange if I remember and it looked damn good!

Status Update:
I will be finished with all my open todos by the last day of January. It might happen that, meanwhile, new TODOs pop up though. Yet, at this moment, I would say we would have a finished product by then.

Great job EK!

Very reassuring to come check up on this project every now and then and be greeted by significant progress. Great job EK, looks like this rollercoaster is nearing it's end. Home stretch, you deserve it man.

I don't understand the comma placement in the dropbox link. Is that supposed to be a decimal point??

Congrats everyone on seeing this project through. Especially EK. Congrats, man, almost there. Seems like it will pay off.

Yep, it's decimal point

I can identify my donations/transactions on the genesis block:
https://github.com/elastic-project/genesis-block/blob/master/genesis-block.json

However, I don't understand how to find those transactions/donations/XEL-amount on the dropbox link:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/21000833/Elastic/Icolist/Ico-list.txt

I do not understand how the identification key in the last column works. How do I identify my XEL amounts? Pictured here:

Thanks,
TWJ

Congrats to the team. I can understand if private messages are becoming overwhelming. From working around software, it's sometimes crucial to cut out any distractions, especially when you're so close to your goals. I'm sure if you have all come this far, then you'll make it to the finish line. Congrats again.

This is not "identification key". This is BTC address(es) from which you donated. If you know your BTC address(es) or TXID when you donated to XEL ICO you can easily find it on this list.

More clear list without pointless advertisement is here:

I'm in the middle of the next job switch. I hope that I'll negotiate 3/4 of full time. If that will happen till 1st of february I can take on my responsibility to create XEL website.

BUT

I need materials
I need texts
I need Q&A; I need FAQ
I need content overall

WIKI isn't enough

I can create a nice, secure, relabile website but I need @EK/@coralreefer brains to fill it with content.

@EK, I know you don't answer to PMs but I'll need you in february with your brain and pen.

I think that we also need a forum. If something happen to BCT we are all in deep hole.

I can provide that but I need your brilliant brains to cooperate. Without that website will be nice looking, empty place.

I can easily find my transactions on the genesis block page.

On the XEL amount page, I cannot find my bitcoin address. Mine starts with a 3. I notice none of them do this. Do I have to do something special?

I think this is because I have some sort of multi-sig wallet?
