And just to show something - this is the new light-wallet look with the new logo embedded  Wink

EK - Would it be possible to build a donation feature into the wallet so those of us who want to donate to the team like yourself who have made this possible can do so right from there?  It is not urgent but I think if we just have it there as an option eventually then more donations will come in.

I came across this project today and found it very interesting. Few questions:

1. Clicked on the website but it was down - so couldn't find more info. Is this expected?

2. Was there an ICO already? I would like to get hold of some of these coins. Any ways to buy it?

Thanks,
bitcoin_newbie.

1. this is the new site: http://www.elastic.pw/ But it is not maintained since last month. most of discussion is @https://talk.elasticexplorer.org/
2. ICO was 1 year ago. You can buy it after ICO coins will be distributed in the next weeks.

A few bitcoins were donated to help with early development. That's all. No ICO, no whatsoever.

Fuck the price. We are witnessing the last steps to get a fully functional decentralized computer with its own language. That's just crazy.

I am interested in this program and would like to hold some of coins too. Since the website has not been maintained for a long time, it is difficult for me to find some information about the that ICO. Can you tell where can i find these information, such as the amount of the ICO tockens, and the exchange rate?  Thanks very much!

Ethereum and other similar shitcoins only flirt with the idea of being 2.0 while in reality they are all the same old same old block chain based token systems. No innovation. Turing completeness does not make a coin magically a level higher than Bitcoin and certainly there is nothing innovative about Turing completeness. The guy died in 1954 anyway. So far Turing completeness has made more people suffer than it has done any good in the smart contracts space. It's ridiculous.

i have to say you have a good point!

[/quote] so interesting to hear that. Ethereum and alike never impressed me . Don't really know why, but I still think they just have a lot of hype around them.

I’m not saying that ICO’s with a working product on launch aren’t scams, but at least they put some more effort in than just writing a whitepaper. Take Golem for example: $400 million+ marketcap and not even a properly working product, just because it’s on Ethereum. Elastic for example is a similar project, they raised 700+ BTC in donations but they basically have a superior working product close to launch. Or just think about the Gnosis launch.

Ethereum is practically not Turing complete. I could prove that.

@unvoid: is Windows-based tutorial (link below) not valid anymore after changing to newest NXT source?
https://talk.elasticexplorer.org/t/how-to-setup-elastic-core-xel-online-wallet-on-windows-platform/70

Quote
Guys, slow down. Turns out @BeanutPutter took newest NXT code for litewallet. So this guide will be only valid for testnet. Some steps will change for mainnet. I'll write new tutorial (only for Linux) once we setup everything. We are working on it (launching litewallet) since yesterday.

After mainnet will be available, new guides will be done (they say).
