Yes very over the top... I'm pissed... breath and exhale ahhhh. Better...

I apologize for that OT but reasonably justified outburst of excrement I just wrote  Embarrassed  Roll Eyes
But I will leave it up to convey the message in essence... I fully support YUFI doing what thou wilt.
And as my learned friend has stated
I think it's extremely funny he has Crowleys "Do what thou wilt shall be the whole if the law." in his avatar.

Not so great a concept anymore when it's other people doing what they want, eh?

This is totally OT, but if you know Crowley, you know that's not what the phrase means. It means you decide how you respond to temptation is up to you, not that you can do whatever you want. It was a response to the hypocritcal morality of 19th century England, not online sales practices.

my beef is he didn't follow the second part of the staement " Love is the Law. Love under will " Crowley wrote also "do that and no other shall say ney" ... I say ney.

And NO true Thelemites never think they can do what the hell they want... if you trully read and disect and understand the statement it is sublimely complete and contains therein the essence of morality and respect for all no matter race, creed, religion or belief. Love is useless without Will and would you will without love???

spitting chips was my (misguided but none the less mine) will at that point in time ...not so now. Now it is finding a better ASIC company...

Holy shit, a religious flamewar about Thelema on a financial forum. Now I can ascend to the great beyond and take my place among the Gods with no regrets.

This is correct, you may now enter the great hall...
but know this... God is in a dog...  Huh  Grin
...& there is no god where I am. Tongue  Lips sealed

Looks like 64 units.

What are with this one? Are this separate Orders or only many input adresses for one order?

It's one order transaction with around 75BTC (one unit) sent to the 18QRSo26TqPZtH1guLfwNXZ2EfZpe7y8Ks. The guy who paid had his money from a lot of addreses. Nothing uncommon here to me, but I'm no expert.

When I paid BTC using my WalletBit balance it went to 18QRSo26TqPZtH1guLfwNXZ2EfZpe7y8Ks. It is probably different if you paid from a non-WalletBit source.

Maybe one can count the transactions on blockchain.info, because it seems always the same adress where the coins are sent to.
I have took a deeper look and almost sure it's more than your address; you can take a look at the transactions here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=140716.0
Also i have noticed one address which received ~5500 BTC, and it seems the same address was used in the past, and nothing was spent from it ever:

Yes, each client paying from outside of walletbit had a unique address to pay to. But I assumed that 18QRSo... was the "big collector" address. It was not.

Does, anyone know or estimate how many people managed to buy AVALON ASICs, I heard there were only like 30-40?

That list is way off. I know of at least 10 units orders completed myself . This is just another fraction list of orders for asics.

And no I didnt order 10 units

Mining Both Bitcoin and Litecoin.

So 64, lets multiply it by 3  or roughly 200 units... what happens if the batch fails?
Avalon will say "no worries", and return the money, but what happens to the 300 from batch#1 who are ready, but need more than 100000$ to get shipped?

Why didn't they just mine for 2-3 day and get the money to ship all units? Don't they work? Do they  exist?  Huh Shocked

Just check some facts before you troll please

the address received 4,735.62764168 BTC, so that is roughly 64 or 63 units.

Not 64 orders of 3 units each

what do you mean the batch fails? It fails to sell out? Fat chance, considering the massive queue of people that want in.

They will just launch batch #3...

Avalon does build to order, they don't need to fill all 600 slots of batch #2, they just buy the parts for the units sold.

Everybody knows a run-a-way capitalist system is based on leverage and compounded interest. You use the funds of future customers to satisfy the existing customer base. This can only work if there is a continuous growth rate. Call it a pyramid scam if you want (but then again our current economy based on FRN and social security are also perfect working pyramid schemes, until the recession hits). This is how growing companies deal with increasing expenses in product development, RMA handling, growing workforce, more overhead, bigger xmas bonuses...

it's safe to assume we are right now at the beginning of the ASIC boom, so plenty of bigger and bigger batches to be sold.
The trick of a pyramid scheme is to get in at the beginning and get out in time (hello Pirate40, are you still out there?)

How hard is it to edit 1st post to "Batch 2 launch failled," instead of  "Launch is Feb 2 ..." then one go to website to see "Sold Out".

This is an epic PR fail.   Good way to kill excitement and expectations.

They've assembled and shipped two units confirmed. That's two units more than all other ASIC mining hardware manufacturers combined.

They're the only ones that have delivered more than just promises.

Very true.

Oh yeah, where are those other 298 units? I forgot they've shipped 100 units by now...since they're so true to their word and all  Roll Eyes
