We had a 4 block fork against out last block (173928) about an hour and a half ago Sad

(I thought it was 7 when I had a closer look at it but now it clearly was 4)

For my bitcoind it went back 69 minutes to our block ... the Ozcoin bitcoind did the same

Ozcoin IS running the latest BIP update - so that sux even more ...

They say no one learns from other's mistakes, so I guess the Bitcoin devs had to fuck up this BIP change to hopefully learn that something like this needs to be in place and stable well BEFORE it goes live ... i.e. everyone is running software that has a future block number that the change is effective (you know ... how everyone always says it should be done ... D'oh)

The blocks on our fork were unknown by my (very simple) identification code - blockchain.info identified one of them as Donate@Home but the same as me for the others as just IP addresses

As the 2 orphan blocks were basically our fault we have paid them out.
Everything back to normal now.

The US mining node and the AU database server lost communication for some time this evening.
This is something we allowed for, currently recovering cached shares.
The site did however only display eu stats for sometime and as the shares are counted I expect site/user stats to look weird for a while.

I've come back and am here to stay. I must say ozco.in is one of the best run pools around.

Are there any benefits of the 5% donation VIP status? I couldn't find documentation on what the different "Member Status" levels entailed.

This pool reminds me of YourBTC back in the day, is it running the same code?

Very nice  Grin

BIG Thanks to urstroyer for not only allowing us to use yourbtc frontend but spending hours helping us setup and migrate.

So, yes it run's the same code but I guess Graet and his staff did a lot of changes since...

Yup, and the backend is ecoinpool, which is a pool software written in Erlang. I hear that it is scalable and solid.

Yeah, I just noticed that line at the bottom.

Really loving this pool. Seems very stable and it really well balanced in terms of payout, just as nice as PPS imo but with no fee. DGM works really well on pools with high hashrates as variance isn't really noticed. Excellent job!

Is there a reason the pool hash rate dropped so steeply and that my miner is refusing to connect to the US server? It looks like a lot of people have disconnected from the pool. Something up?

Quick Edit: I just connected to the EU server and that is accepting work. The US server seems to be acting up. I hope you figure it out!
