My R1 gave me a 190k share seconds after plug-in, now I am 4th place... Let me take #1 crown! When it pulls that awesome block solving share and becomes the mother of all antrouters!

We should so do a commentary...

Andy is still holding 1st place with his high horse power engine of 450MHz!... his 23.627.403 share crushing all others! Minibit  from switzerland taking second place here, will he be able top Andy??

Ant777 is  the poor router in last place that is running, look at him try, you never know what he may have up his sleeve!

Meanwhile, the bestever share from realduke of 13G has not been broken yet!  That showed the power of a single hash from these racers! Who will pull the next best hash?

Look at them all go!

Yes,
its easy to explain :
a miner who has an unbeaten best share, will stay on 1st place, nevertheless it´s on- or offline

Btw, sometimes I´m working on my 450MHz (some tests up to 475MHz) racer, so it´s temporary offline
and sometimes I got some issues with the embedded cgminer and/or ckpool, so it´s neccessary,
to restart the miner...
But when I fall asleep, so it´s offline for a longer time

PS: it´s funny to see the neverending battle around the 26th and 27th place between RichBC´s and m1n3m1n3m1n3´s Offline-Miners .

It´s just a matter of luck and timing (and Clockrate/Speed of course) than anything else .
Sometimes you´ll get a million share after a couple of minutes....

Those of use who have "run" since day one have a lot of shares submitted, but it is not indicative of who can/will have the highest share, that's just luck!

1. if a new block from CKPool was found
2. the number of this block and/or:
3. when a new round is starting

Another thought is as there is a lot of similarity between the R1 & the Compac, might is be sensible to have a single discussion / help / general chit-chat thread as opposed to two? Not something I feel strongly about, but what do others think?

Before we started with the new gekkorun site, I suggested in the german thread, to merge antrun and gekkorun to one single side,
but ammi84 said, he prefers two separated sites...

My first little Antrunner (andymanone 1), goes "green" since three days

I´ve finished a little "Solar powered only" sideproject, so my little ant runs now w/o any powersupply,
only driven by sun and battery backup

What I´ve taken for it:
- a inexpensive 18 Volt / 100 Watts  Poly-Solarpanel  (adjust it on my balcony )
- a solar charger / controller
- a 12 Volt car battery
- a Low-Power 12Volt to 220Volt Stepup-Converter (so there was no R1 modding neccessary, the Antrouter can easy "at is is" plugged in

Thats all

I am lucky today, lucky shares from my ant, plus solved two blocks of litecoin, although I was pooled, I solved them at over 200% diff in the same day with my KNC titan. Should have soloed

Just out of curiosity...do any of you use this as a router? Cause this feels like a bunch of people sitting around watching slugs race.

I use mine as a phone charger thats always plugged in, and a wifi to ethernet which my  KNC titan is plugged into. But if people want to watch slugs race, thats part of the fun : - )
