i don't mind other people say, i don't criticize people's beliefs, i don't manipulate others mind...i just believe in GOD, and have faith in him...that's all even how many books to read that says Christianity is a poison...i don't mind...as long as i have my faith in one GOD..and my relationship with my friends, family, stranger  or even enemy is right...i believe i am not being poisoned in my religion...

I think that there is a point in everything that you have detailed here. I am a christian but I think that there is so much hate to atheists that is becoming so unfair. Their belief might be different but it doesnt mean that they have not any morals than the rest of us.

Christianity has been a source of good in many countries up through the centuries. I would not say it is poison, quite the opposite.

Christianity is not a poison it depends to the people if they will believe and follow all the work of the so called GOD . Its not that all religion are the same, and they are not all good and bad.

Contrary to popular mainstream Atheistic rants that religion or specifically Christianity is poisonous to society, I want to argue that Christianity has done and will continue to provide society with many great social positives.

My three main positive reformations of society are as follows:

1. Christianity produced the foundation for the equality of women.
2. The right to justice for all.
3. Abolition of Slavery in the British Empire.

Christianity is about two things:
1. Leading a good and righteous life so that there is order in society;
2 Forgiveness by God, through Jesus Christ, so that there can be salvation.

Anything else is Christianity in name only. Often officials of various governments attempt to use part of Christianity, or the popularity of Christianity, to manipulate their government into more power. At times in history, even the Roman Catholic church has done this.

Christianity is good as long as you keep it for yourself and don't try to convert any folk you meet. I don't have any religion, but I like the values of christianity and admit that it's good for some people (they act in their life with much more confidence as they believe they are supported by God, which make them more successful usually).

As long as I can see this kind of post the better I look at christianity is, the more I read a post about christians being the evil one the more I believe in Christ. Written in the book of revelation that there will be anti Christ, not anti buddha, nor anti alah, but there will be anti Christ. As for now I can see all that warnings from God, so the more people hate Christians the more I love God and believe in the bible which is the word of God. Christianity is not a poison, it is a religion of love for mankind,donstrated by Christ Himself. He died on the cross and rose up the third day, followers of Christ were first called Christian in Antioch. Other Religion like Islam is a Religion of Peace. The works that Christ did were what was written in the Gospel for us to believe in Christ. So Christianity is not Poison but a way of life to eternity. Christ preached Love for God and For our neighbor.what is poison in this. I strongly disagree with the topic Christianity is poison. Before the coming of Christ there are many religions been practiced and when the religion of believer of Christ and God came, there were witnesses to what Jesus Christ came on earth to do. His Love for mankind to be saved from eternal damnation,He demonstrated this by healing many sick ones, the blind, the deaf, the cripple,the dump, even the dead were raised back to life and ..etc. To crown it up Christ died on the cross and He rose up the Third  day. and ascended to heaven. All His disciples that had been  with him from the beginning of his ministry and had learned from the Teachings of Jesus Christ, were the ones address at Antioch as Christians,because they behave like Christ, they were  first called Christian in Antioch.  this event is in the New Testament, while the Old Testament is an event of God's law to the children of Israelite and humanity on how God wants them to live,it is a dispensation of the Law and Prophets ....etc. Other Religion like the Islam is a religion of peace, so we should not just look at a certain part of the Bible or Quran and consider them poison.

no Christianity is not a poison. really who believing to god those people giving more respect to Christianity. really god is very kind and love. so most of the people love to Jesus. i don't believe to any religions i respect to people. religion is not a matter people bonding is very important. so i love bonding to people. Sometimes, religions gave confusion to many people in the entire world. Because of different doctrine, and sectarian or non sectarian people got manipulated and sometimes deceived even though they use only one Book which is the Bible. I am not affiliated with any religion, but we cannot deny that religion, especially Christianity has kept humans, alive.

For example the end of the viking raid was because of Christian influence.

Until today, christian practices keep people from doing bad. I will not deny that there is a huge corruption, even mental-wise that if happening, but just imagine a world without religion, when theres no need to fear hell nor is there a reward for doing good?

It is very strange to find thin kind of people who are so hateful to a group of believers. So you think you are better then those who started all the wars and abused children and so on? Perhaps you are, but with this attitude you don't help. Religion is not about God or Jesus is loving you and so on, for any person who has written at least 40 books in his life he can see the morality behind the words. the gospel is the first book who has a different meaning for each person who reads it. It's like the word freedom. There is no such thing like freedom, where ever you go you will find rules to obey. So, just be peacefully, usually it helps>) Including on market:)

But the other religions also don't claim that they are perfect. On the other hand, the Christians are the ones who claim that everyone will go to hell unless they accept Jesus Christ as their savior. Also, we need to remember the fact that Christianity is now the largest religion in the planet (in terms of the number of followers), although Islam may overtake it in the near future.
