Ethereum is the most popular altcoin. One of the many reliable coins out there. It's good since its pricing and market value is always corrected immediately when dips occur. It doesn't depreciate that much and most ICO's are accepting it. In the long run ETH is a good altcoin.

Ethereum is one of the biggest and best altcoin in the crypto world! It is said to be the next Bitcoin. The road map is good. The developer is good. Even Bill Gates who is known to be the richest in the world had invested on Ethereum. It only shows how he believes and trust it. Aside from that, many altcoins nowadays depend on it.

On the one hand it's good as they can sometimes preserve the value of the cryptocurrency, however, they can be used in fake news or if something really happens to them it's likely to ruin the market and the exchange rate.ETH keeps growing and growing i'm sure with the future of ethereum, i have no doubt about the technology and innovation brought by ethereum, because you can see almost all ico users using the ethereum platform and this will continue to grow as the ico market share will continue to grow and spread also.

Ethereum is a very good and promising coin. She should be trusted, it should be invested and she will please you with her growth in price. However, due to the fact that the price of bitcoin is very high in comparison with other coins and with the increase of its rate, this rate also rises immediately to tens and hundreds of dollars, which other coins can not do, then in the long-term perspective it is better to store money in bitcoin.

IMO, each altcoin has to have an objective. ETH's very clear which are it own: make the app's connection with its blockchain something really integrated, with the Ethereum Virtual machine and it's smart contracts. This opened the possibility of creation new tokens (coins) using the Ethereum network/blockchain as their distributed ledger. Thinking about this, and the number of projects that are Ethereum-based, ETH has more space to grow.

I look back at the comments from last year everyone had a negative view on ETH but now those people must regret what they underestimate about it. And even this time there are still some people who are skeptical of what it can bring in the future.

Isn't this silly.

There is BTC and everything else is called Altcoin.

But BTC is rather outdated, rather inefficient compared to some mighty fine alt coins out there.

If one could let all coins do a survival of the fittest run based on performance/possibilities BTC would be placed pretty low.

BTC is up because of sentiment, nothing more. And since BTC is held for a large part by moguls, I hope it'll be reduced to 1 dollar or less...

To me cryptocurrency should be about equality, and it should be decentralized. BTC is none of that, so I hope it perishes.

Sentiment however, it's a worthy antagonist. So I probably go to my grave on a day putting me in the ground costs 0.001 BTC.

I agree with you, so far Ethereum quite have a really good outcome since it was once released, and from the past months it rides the waves as where Bitcoin rides. I mean as the Bitcoin's price go up so well, it resulted a really good pump even though its not December yet. So back to Ethereum, it also have quite the pump, and those campaigns, projects and ICOs have helped it quite a lot.

You are misinformed. Ethereum is not an Altcoin, it is new blockchain tech that is far different from bitcoin and for a different use. Bitcoin is a store of value. Ether is the fuel to run the ethereum network.
