Ethereum: Good alt or stay away?

Vitalik Buterin, the father of Ethereum, seriously believes in its future, and as we see, almost all plans and prediction of this smartest guy are realized.

Ethereum is the most important Platform in the Cryptoworld, is a good investment but not an investment with big returns anymore. If you want big returns you have to be an ICO hunter who looks for the best to invest early.

ETH has many coin based on it. So you would think that its a good alt. If you think logically you would now why there are so many coins are based on eth.

Because they see the potential and they see that eth will rise in the future.

Ethereum is great and the technology only just started to evolve. You have basically a guy, who saw how bitcoin works, and decided to put a programmable language in it. That guy is Vitalik and he's an obsolute genious, he is the lead developer of Ethereum and has been its head since its inception. The possibilities of ETH are endless, the best concept is the ICO funding which all the projects are doing. The problem with that, is that when Projects do raise funds, they usually sell them sortly after and that reduced the price of ETH. But I think eventually the roads will diverge and ETH won't be considered anymore only a platform for raising funds. When protocol upgrades take place (privacy for transactions, PoS etc.) then the advantages of Ethereum is be even more highlighted and people will start realizing it's potential.

Irrrve never truly reliable supplementary blockchain in ethereum's matter.So I don't assistance it as being holder, not since i do not believe in, more like since i just tend not to.

I think ethereum is good enough to be considered by some altcoins, because ethereum is the largest prevention network, when compared with the actual bitcoin, it has a different purpose and function, bitcoin that offers peer to peer electronic money for payment and bitcoin transfer. . , while ethereum focuses on its blockchain for payment and transfer of ethereum.

ETH is a good altcoin for me, it is based from bitcoin and we really can see it's potential of course ETH is just an innovation so i don't think that it can pass the genuine one but many people are saying that it can pass bitcoin so it really is a good alt but i read an article last week that there are some incident in ETH that almost 3million got hacked or robbed but i don't think it's a reason to stay away with ETH as i say we can really see it's potential so i'm sure that in the future it will be a much better coin.

That is right. I think ETH has good developments. It will used widely in the future.

Yes, I am convinced that Ethereum is very good, reliable and promising altcoin. Those, who have been dealing with it for the last year got their profits. Now, after the BTC fork cancellation, I think ETH value will grow more.

Not only a good bet for the future.. with all of this confusion with Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin and which one is going to succeed, looks like Ethereum could be the best way to store value until there's more clarity.

I can say that ethereum is a good coin and has potential also which you can hold. The price of ethereum is rising as second as bitcoin and I do not sense any big fall so far.

Ethereum is something that you can not compare with anything else, you have just to focus in the tokens market to notice that is practically the coin with the highest cap market (if you add the erc20 tokens volume). Almost every new blockchain proposal arising lately is based on ethereum. Groundbreaking, I´m practically sure that very soon Vitaly Buterin will be in the cover of Times magazine.

Eth has always been one of my favorite coin and i have so much admiration in it. Despite the challenges eth experienced, it never failed to overcome and prove its worth. Moreover, eth is perfect for investments and if you want to gain huge profit, i suggest you go for eth and hold on to it for sometime as long term investment.

Hi everyone, I've been around for a while now.. 
I've seen a lot of posts positive and negative about Ethereum.

At the moment I am holding Bitcoins, but I have invested in some Ether as well.

Now I am wondering, what are legitimate concerns about Ether (except for IPO, as I've already read this in a lot of posts).

So can anyone bring real other issues to the table, to enlighten me (and maybe a lot of other readers?)

I would say ethereum has the potential. Not only because of the hype that its been receiving lately but because of the good and quality service that it brings to its people. So i think it is good enough to be considered by other altcoins that you can hear or see. It has gone through many issues but the developers keeps on doing its best to solve those issues and to keep its name clean and secured. It all depends on you for your security if you will be responsible enough or not.

I could definitely see ETH bringing awareness to altcoins and leading the mass adoption in the future. It has the EEA behind it and with so many icos leveraging on the features of the platform and working on their product release, once products start to go live, it will increase the uses cases for ETH and the mainstream adoption will come.

As we speak every coin is on the rise and so is the Ethereum. Currently, Ethereum is number 2 out of all the cryptocurrencies and still hodling strong. But it still has a long way to go to be AS GOOD as Bitcoin. The good thing is that Ethereum has potential to increase value, and we saw a small example of that after the segwit2x cancellation.
So, IMO it is a good alt, and i recommend investments in this altcoin, especially for long term investments.

i think for a lot of optimistic people about Ethereum they it will reach the thousands soon but it still to be just a speculation because know it is stable my advice to you is invest a respesctful amount in ether and wait and see.
