Ethereum: Good alt or stay away?

Ethereum in my humble opinion is 2nd to Bitcoin,

It's certainly 2nd to bitcoin if we will base through www.coinmarketcap.com

It is a safe investment and less volatile than other Altcoins. I would feel safer investing in Ethereum than any other Altcoin out there now.

Every crypto does have their safety net and risk, I won't say that ETH is a safe investment and less volatile. I won't consider an alt coin as less volatile than other alt coins or even with bitcoin. The chance of it to go down and high will remain and it won't change my belief.

Eth 2nd best coin out there, has large growth potential. Most ICO's are base on ERC20 plat. I would invest in Ethereum and feel safer than investing in any other altcoin now. Usually on a steady rise, currently at $320 and still rising slowly.

Then ETH will surpass Bitcoin eventually if BTC could not come upto that standards.

Ethereum is one of the best coins you can hold. There are thousands of projects that are being launched daily and most of them user Ethereum. Ethereum is offering a well accepted standard which is called ERC20, as long as projects create coins based on that standard they can basically be Ethereum "compatible". So in other words Ethereum managed to create an ecosystem which is very difficult to not join, because if you don't use that standard then it won't be interoperable with other coins/wallets etc. That's a very savvy move, but you can expect only savvy things from Vitalik, who is very skillful and knows what he is doing. The man is just a genious, and I am happy to follow and learn from what he thinks and has to say. He's very young as well which means Ethereum will live long with a great leader who has a great vision. It's by no means an altcoin that you should stay away from!

Ethereum is the most important Platform in the Cryptoworld, is a good investment but not an investment with big returns anymore. If you want big returns you have to be an ICO hunter who looks for the best to invest early.

ETH has many coin based on it. So you would think that its a good alt. If you think logically you would now why there are so many coins are based on eth.

Ethereum is great and the technology only just started to evolve. You have basically a guy, who saw how bitcoin works, and decided to put a programmable language in it. That guy is Vitalik and he's an obsolute genious, he is the lead developer of Ethereum and has been its head since its inception. The possibilities of ETH are endless, the best concept is the ICO funding which all the projects are doing. The problem with that, is that when Projects do raise funds, they usually sell them sortly after and that reduced the price of ETH. But I think eventually the roads will diverge and ETH won't be considered anymore only a platform for raising funds. When protocol upgrades take place (privacy for transactions, PoS etc.) then the advantages of Ethereum is be even more highlighted and people will start realizing it's potential.

Irrrve never truly reliable supplementary blockchain in ethereum's matter.So I don't assistance it as being holder, not since i do not believe in, more like since i just tend not to.

I think ethereum is good enough to be considered by some altcoins, because ethereum is the largest prevention network, when compared with the actual bitcoin, it has a different purpose and function, bitcoin that offers peer to peer electronic money for payment and bitcoin transfer. . , while ethereum focuses on its blockchain for payment and transfer of ethereum.

ETH is a good altcoin for me, it is based from bitcoin and we really can see it's potential of course ETH is just an innovation so i don't think that it can pass the genuine one but many people are saying that it can pass bitcoin so it really is a good alt but i read an article last week that there are some incident in ETH that almost 3million got hacked or robbed but i don't think it's a reason to stay away with ETH as i say we can really see it's potential so i'm sure that in the future it will be a much better coin.

That is right. I think ETH has good developments. It will used widely in the future.

Yes, I am convinced that Ethereum is very good, reliable and promising altcoin. Those, who have been dealing with it for the last year got their profits. Now, after the BTC fork cancellation, I think ETH value will grow more.

Not only a good bet for the future.. with all of this confusion with Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin and which one is going to succeed, looks like Ethereum could be the best way to store value until there's more clarity.

I can say that ethereum is a good coin and has potential also which you can hold. The price of ethereum is rising as second as bitcoin and I do not sense any big fall so far.
