I think Ethereum is one of those coins that will be growing very fast and making eth holders very happy. I can honestly say that it is one of my favorite. as much as more successful eth based token will be appearing, we'll be even happier with the prices.

Out of all the Alts the have come and gone and are still around, Ethereum is the one that's gained the most traction. It's ICO feature likely being a big part of that. I'd say it's pretty good, though it has flaws: huge blockchain to name one, but i see it staying around and rising. So, i'd say it's a good alt.

As long as Ethereum is in continuous development and become more useful in the future, it is a good coin.

I think ethereum is the crypto currency which have the potential to overcome bitcoins future as ethereum is also rising with a great rate just like bitcoins are.This year ehtereum has went from $11 to $400 which is great for an crypto currency.It is a good investment and it is the first cryptocurrency with smart contracts.People has starting trusting and investing in ethereum just like bitcoins, ethereum is a promising coin.

Stay away from those projects that are made through erc20 especially those that are just crowdfunding, ETH is good but it's feature has been used by many scammers.

There's other altcoins where I am investing, however I am bullish on Ethereum.
With Metropolis there will be big gains in terms of safety and scalability. And most importantly privacy protection through zk-SNARKs.
Besides it is also interesting to see the cooperation with the Zcash developers.. we will see what happens in that regard, but Metropolis adds a lot to something which was already outstanding, so definitely a good alt in my book..

A lot of people have already made a lot of money from this. And it has become quite popular now, I find it hard to believe any more speculations can be made at this level. And the gossip around this is just too much to have any trust left. It's a tough world, and i would put my money into something else.

Hi everyone, I've been around for a while now..
I've seen a lot of posts positive and negative about Ethereum.
At the moment I am holding Bitcoins, but I have invested in some Ether as well.
Now I am wondering, what are legitimate concerns about Ether (except for IPO, as I've already read this in a lot of posts).
So can anyone bring real other issues to the table, to enlighten me (and maybe a lot of other readers?)

just so you know , etherium is a good coin alternative to bitcoin and i highly recomended because it is legit and also valuable to invest and hold and eth so far is competing to btc and there have been maby speculators saying that etherium will soon be the next bitcoin or would replace bitcoin. but i dont agree with it because bitcoin is still and will be the father and the king of all cryptocurencies. |

No, we are discussing about Ethereum, not is Ethereum Classic - an altcoin fork from Ethereum after hacked. But beside that, Ethereum Classic also a good altcoin for investment in a long term. If you can have a spare amount of money to invest, you can buy a little amount of Ethereum Classic to hold. |

Ethereum is becoming a great alt coin, it has a troubled recent past with the flop that was the DAO something I had to sit through and wonder what the hell was going on but its come out the other side stronger than ever. Had a great speed advantage at the moment over the BTC network and the spin off ERC-20 coins have give it more flexibilty.

Ethereum is good, but not very good if you want higher ROI of your investment.
ETH is more stable than other coins, and ETH has some drawbacks caused a lot of other projects aim to solve and try to take ETH's place, I think EOS is a very strong competitor, and probably have highest ROI in next 2-3 years.
So, in my opinion, hold ETH as part of your blockchain investment and you can always buy more ETHs since currently is the only option if you want to participate in ICOs. And you also can hold BTC as big part of your investment and have some EOS as part of high risk high return investment.

Ethereum is everything but after bitcoin. The best among all the digital assets is bitcoin in all aspects. If we consider altcoins only, then your statement is valid and ethereum is the nuber one altcoin so far. It has a good potential of surviving and everyone is expecting it to touch a target of 1000 dollars within next few months. I also believe that their prediction is true. |
