The document showed 639,159.97 AUR

ok, wow. Quite a bit.

maybe we can scoop up some cheap coins when they are given back to users.

That someday, or maybe at least see AUR distributed further.

It will be interesting to see where this goes.

Any news on the Mintpal address ? (#2 richest address, 464k AUR).
There have been some withdraws from it in the last few months.

Together Cryptsy and Mintpal are currently holding 13% of all coins.

Russian guy hacked my account and put stupid DAV logo as my profile pic, also got me -1 negative trust feedback.

Biomike and LTEX will be able to soak up the dumps and push the marketcap back over a million. They have lots of btc to invest in AUR

We lost internet connection at around 10:45 for a while probably that was the issue.

Everything seems to be fine now.

Good news!
Auroracoin tokens stored on defunct Cryptsy wallets are recovered.
Info. source - http://www.coindesk.com/cryptsy-ceo-millions-digital-currency-steal/
The ammount of recovered coins are listed at report page no. 23

Have a nice day   Wink

thanks for the info.

Unfortunately the report linked from the article seems to have been removed.

Do you have a link or remember the ballpark amount of AUR recovered?

Will it be given back to users?

It's has become unlikely funds are given back. Our friend Vernon seems to have destroyed the evidence and so the server files. Without an up to date balance sheet it's impossible to (partialy) refund the users.

Researching auroracoin and found this on YouTube... Where is this? How about putting ads in more busy bus stops or maybe in a metro station?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K_BRAl7LcT0

Good find! This was the preliminary release of one of the busstops on the shores of Reykjavik. We made a more detailed shoot of a lot more busstops here: https://youtu.be/ff-lhz_W4Bo

Yes you are absolutely right and it's getting really annoying my internet provider(ziggo) seems to have trouble again.
I asked what's wrong but no ant yet.

So when they fix it we should come back online again.

Sorry for the troubles Huh

Its sad to see you dont have a plan and all the money in the bus campaign was a waste of money. You business strategy is totally wrong. Please re-think all over and do it properly,,, it needs to be consistence, you can not do advertisement like this, it needs to have an objective. Look the price of Aurora, this reflects  the kind of management. Very poor indeed

Yep, but they don't give up this coin, which is acceptable, other coin devs may run away, fortunately aur is still there.

I understand your feeling Porte, things have been rather quiet last months. This of course is due to the summer holidays, but also because we are working on some strategic partnerships. Meanwhile we are setting up the vehicles needed to get the merchants involved.

I think we stated before, price levels are not our main concern just yet. Once things fall into place a steady growth will follow though. The bus stop campaign has done exactly what we expected it to do. Auroracoin is embedded in the minds of the Icelandic people and many interesting parties (both political and corporate) have joined us.

You have been patient so far, just hang on and you'll see where we're going.

Dev's have done us a favour by keeping announcements minimal as a week price will give us one last chance to affordably buy coins before this rocket ship takes off.

roll large trader away can only occur when there is a point of sale system in force. I use auroracoin in the reality.
