A friend of mine who runs a CryptoNote pool (that included a Karbowanec pool, a BipCoin pool and a Xcicoin pool) was hacked last weekend. He's fixed it and has posted that he got hacked, so people know.

Thank you for the info. What can I say, miners should make their due diligence before mining on any pool and check its fees including my one because even once reliable may be one day hacked as well unnoticed. It could be as well pool misconfiguration.

We're working on 'payment request' thing.  Even this feature is missing in the wallet so far due to the fact that it is not Bitcoin fork, so many features we have to make ourselves. Help with URI handling server anyone?

I think it is better to run pool in api mode cause not all miners switched off.

Trying to update my daemon using newest 1.3.0 CLI wallet and keep getting this error. First i started from a node that was maybe 1 month old, kept getting this error. Then, I deleted the karbowanec folder
in users\appdata\roaming  so i could start the node fresh and im still getting this error. what should I do and what is wrong?

We made minor bug fixes to the wallets, archives are the same, we just changed file ver., so redownload and reinstall. It is not mandatory because most likely you won't notice or encounter bugs, they do not affect wallet operation.
